Liking the portrayl of the Birds, there's some great characterisation and some awesome action scenes... Poor Zatanna though... Keep it up Matt!

So the Birds get the crap beat out of them, and they get beat up in a load of crap. Don't know about that kind of fetish.
I'll say this, though: the Birds are taking a beating, and they're still fighting hard and not going down. I love the interactions/ squabbling between them; just when I think I like one certain Bird the best, another will do something that makes me favor her. And was that a certain Dark Knight cameo at the end there?
I'm very much enjoying this series. Great pacing, great action and great characterizations. But who is the "Master"?

Glad you picked up on the Bat cameo at the end there, batarang Glad you both enjoyed it! A little clue as to the identity of the 'master' - he is a canonical character, but hasn't been around lately. One of the other characters featured in this issue is also canon, but helped defeat the 'master' in the DCU. |
