Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this. It's obvious that Mr. Z is a huge fan of these characters, especially Batwoman, whom DC proper doesn't seem to have any idea what do with.
I'm glad the relationship between her and Renee is part of this story, and bringing in Alfred was a great idea (although I, too, would love to know how he figured it out).
Very nice cover, as well. I have only one little nit picky thing. Bullock. I realize his speech pattern is much more street level and stunted, but I'd be a bit careful how much far you go with it. When it becomes distracting, you might want to pull back on it a bit. I think the readers can get the idea with a few well placed words here and there.
However, I found this issue to be even better than the first and will be looking forward to the next thrilling installment.

Thanks, Brian.
I re-read some of the things I had written (several months ago)... and I didn't like Bullock either. I mean I am trying to go for Bullock that's from Dennis O'Neil & Neil Adams approach to the character, but I found that yeah I didn't like how he seemed to come across as just a stupid man, when I am trying to portray him as something different.
Anyway... it'd been a while so I need to revisit that in the third issue coming out soon.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope that Jina's cover comes soon, but knowing how busy she's been... not sure when that might be.
Thanks for reading, Brian. Hope to see you again in the third issue.
