I guess I need to see more, but it reads really abstract to me. Not entirely sure where the story is going, but was hard to follow for me.
*** from me.
The cover was simple, but effective.
**** from me for the cover.
I'll follow the title next month...

abstract way of writing, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.... granted the style takes some getting used to, but by then end of the story I was really digging it..... it was a slow start, but every story has to start somewhere..... looking forward to seeing where this story goes, so I'll be back next month!

The cover was really expressive for me. It was simple, but it said so much. The costume was hung and torn, drifiting away...
The story though was kind of pedestrain. Don't get me wrong, I really love stories about fallen heroes. Seeing how they went from proud and hopeful to desolate and depressive is always interesting, but this didn't really do anything for me. He sits around doing nothing and listening to natrual disasters. This was just a few pages of "Oh, how can I humiliate Aquaman?" which is fun for a few minutes, but I need a little more for an effective story. Shock me.
Still, even though this might not have been the most gripping read, it has the potential to be really good. I look forward to seeing Arthur rise above his current funk.

Thanks for the feedback.
Ya, I don't usually write like this. Mostly it was an attempt to experiment with the thought process of the character, and with present-tense writing...vaguely stream of concious but not quite. Not sure I like the style excessively, but fun to mess around with for a miniseries or whatever.
Agree with the pedestrian feel. Hopefully more action and excitement coming up, if not in this little series then somewhere else.
And I loved the cover. Hopefully find similar quality for next issue, though aware that Roy is busy busy. :/

A very unique way to begin. There were part of it that I thought really worked and a few things that I didn't. I will agree that it was a bit of a slow start, but I liked the concept in general. In fact, I'm intrigued by Arthur's status, however, and will definately be back. You have quite a bit to be proud of here.
And I thought the cover was exceptional. simple and haunting. It got my attention!
