The polls at the top of each issue....I know there was a question a while back as to why people seem to be reading and not voting.. I don't vote sometimes because I don't get a chance to read every issue of the week so therefore I don't feel like I can vote yet and then when I do read an issue I forget to go back, it seems like just a straight number system 1 - 5 or something based on how much you liked the issue might get more interaction. I know I would vote more often based on how much I liked the individual issue instead of comparing it to all the other. Just my two cents.

I think this is a great idea... and you're not the first to bring it up! I think it is something we should look at starting with DC2 Year 2.

I, too, have to agree with this. A number or letter system seems a tad better and doesn't have that competetive feel.

Yeah, I like it. I'd go for that.

The people have spoken. So let it be written, so let it be done!
But instead of numbers (where some folks might get confused if 1 is good or 5 is), how about stars? Thus:
***** **** *** ** *
I think fewer people would be confused by this. A five-star issue is obviously better than a one-star, right?
Or we could go with:
Excellent! Great! Good. Fair. Needs work.
Which does everyone prefer?

Personally, I prefer the stars. Words are more likely to be misinterpreted.

The stars are a better choice, IMO. The same thing happens to me sometimes. I read all the issues that come out during the week and so I forget to vote.

Yeah, I think the stars are good. People are familiar with a five star hotel, or five star eatery (cause I couldn't spell restuarant).

Came home from Vegas and never did see Ollie's new joint. I will say stars. Maybe that will get more people to vote?

Ollie's place is being rebuilt. Damn Para-demons! Hope you had a great time though, John.
Road Warrior? Have you ever actually drove through Arkansas? You're really not that far off. LOL! (kidding of course)
