It's a quiet week for the DC2 this time round, as we've been dumped on by the powers that be with a fifth week to the month. But just because we've got an unscheduled extra seven days, doesn't mean your DC2 time will be wasted! Oh no!
Delayed by events out of our control, New Outsiders #18 hits hard this week with a James Bond-esque adventure chronicling the madcap adventures of Red Tornado and Batgirl, and also revealing Reddy's SECRET ORIGIN! Oh yes!
And may I take this moment to ask you to keep Brian Burchette, writer of New Outsiders, Justice League and Detective Comics, in your thoughts and prayers, as he's having to visit the hospital to undergo surgery. I'm sure any thoughts you could direct his way would be appreciated. I hope you all join me in a hearty: GET WELL SOON! to one of my (and your!) favourite writers on this site.
Also debuting is a DC2 Superman/Batman: World's Finest Special, as we delve into the past to view Batman and Superman as they battle the mysterious Magpie for the lives of the elite class of Metropolis! This astonishing tale also ties into Adventures of Superman #0, and I hope you take the time to enjoy this titanic team up!
