Here's my latest... theme we were given to work with was 'The Party'. So, naturally, I made it a twisted scary party. "The Party Game"

Love the effect this picture delivers: the woman's pert smile versus the menace of her gentleman suitors.
The mole is a perfect touch! Makes her even more beautiful. I will think of her as Phillipa. Or Elspeth.
Alas, poor Lizzy! She's in for quite the shock when she takes off the blindfold...

I just got a bunch of my artwork back from my first quarter in school... OK, I say bunch, but I meant 2... I'll photograph them and stick it up here soon! Cool thing though is that 4 more were chosen to replace those first two! The chosen few:
A Girl and her Puppy Just Like a Dream Hansel & Gretel Palpatine collage (which I didn't like very much, but my instructor did, and apparently placed it behind glass on the wall!)

This one was done in Adobe Illustrator for class. They make us do waaaaay too many self portraits. Anyone mind if I post photographs in here? I know it's not exactly fan art and all, but since I've been in this photography class, I've taken some killer photos.

GL looks awesome.
I had to do Illustrator in my media major in HS. It's a good program but now when I use it I'm way out of practice. There's a guy on deviantart who makes beautiful stuff, but I forget his name. Maybe I'll check it out later and post some links

That is from Hal's evil past as Parallax.
No fancy techniques... drew it, scanned it, wacom-ed it in Photoshop Elements, and Voila!

Ask & you shall receive Carlos! Here is an experiment in Illustrator that I did yesterday! I took a photograph of a nekkid TV star, used Illustrator, and made two versions of her. This is the edited PG13 version that I did... you will only see it here... For the non-edited version, see me at school on Tuesday!

Ha. Good job, sir! I know Illustrator can be a trick to use if you're not used to it. I have to ask though, which TV star is it?

Though it looks nothing like her in the face (photo realism is a pain in Illustrator without using the Mesh Tool & I wanted a more stylized animated look for this piece), It's Charisma Carpenter.

More Illustrator files done as in-class projects (see, this is why I don't participate as much in the site anymore!) A Program cover for the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas (a real and very hard to get tickets kind of show - the bands that participated this past Christmas line the outside of the image): A Rose done with the Illustrator Mesh tool (a pain in the butt to use, but I'm getting the hang of it... I plan on trying it with my next pin-up girl) A silly little self-portrait I did in about 10 minutes (before I grew my hair out): One project that we had was to design a shopping bag. The bag's handle was to be not only functional, but a part of the design as well. This is just the Illustration that I used since the school grabbed the original from me and put it in a glass case. The handle was made of chain, so when you held the bag properly it looked like the skeleton was hanging from the chain. This was just practice with the 3D effects in Illustrator. As you can see I always have GL on the brain...
