Tiger, your stuff seriously rocks, and I don't just throw around compliments like that. You would've done great at the Kubert School. Time to get away from this pinup nonsense. If you have any interest, I can email you an official Marvel tryout script or a DC Nightwing script that editor Michael Wright at DC sent to me for a tryout (cuz they don't really have a tryout script). I'd love to see what you can do sequentially.

Grundy fans check out JSA: Legends of the Golden Age, Issue 0, out this week! How's that for responsive!
BTW, Blair, I certainly share your opinion that Jim deserves to be getting paid for his outstanding work (not to mention our esteemed Art Director, as well) but what exactly do you consider "pinup nonsense"?

Good art Tigereyes ! All of the pictures are real great . But I really liked the Cyborg / Robin pic (You could tell I did if you knew I liked Teen Titans so much ), and I also liked The Justice League ones which are the Captain Marvel , and the Firestorm / Green Arrow pics .

Thanks for the compliments guys! And I know what you mean about the pin-up. I actually do have a tendency to focus more on pin-up illustrations, but in fact I not only have done sequential art (I self-published for 3 years) but I am now, in fact, doing some sequential stuff for a project for Paramount Pictures. I do admit that I am sloooooooooooooow on my sequentials and they aren't as much fun for me yet (I thumb-nail like crazy to get things the way I want) but I am trying to get it to the point where they come out a little faster and easier.

Down boy. The wink means the comment is meant in a lighthearted way. What it really means is pinups do not a comic artist make. I have yet to see any narrative illustrations out of tigereyes. Many artists can draw a great Batman standing on top of a building, but can't draw Bruce Wayne grilling a steak and talking to Alfred for 3 pages, while following the format rules of a comic book page. I think tigereyes can handle it, though. I just want to see it.

That's me! I can draw pinups 'til the cows come home... never tried sequential work though. I've seen Jim's sequentials... they kick ass. He drew an awsome Moon Knight fight scene.

Well, the offer is always there. If I have a narrative page to do, I can do one page of finished pencils a day -- a little more, a little less, depending on what the page entails. I used to thumbnail the night away for assignments... end up wasting sooo much time. It would take all the fun out of drawing the final piece. So now I do only one or two full thumbs per page, then draw it. Paramount? Storyboarding p'raps? I did some boards for a feature (that never got filmed) and a short (that'll be shown soon). Not as fun as comics, but, it pays the bills.

Wow, it's been a while since I put up anything...and since I still haven't had time to upload anything NEW, I figured it would be cool to put up something that never got used...due to a dead website...

I just looked at some of your other stuff and it was all very cool. I really like the fight scene between Deathstroke and Deadshot. Did you ever read the fight between the two, where Deadshot shoots him while Rick Flagg is talking to him?

It was actually a three-fold gate cover that had a ton of characters in it, like The Legion of Superheroes, Cap. Marvel, Green arrow and others...and this one was of Cosmic Boy (twisting a gun with his magnetic powers)and The Big Red Cheese. and the next one would have Lightning Lad giving off electricity too, kinda combining with the SHAZAM lightning....again, let me state that this was a work in progress...I hate the way Cos looks, and this was more of a mock-up.
I really liked what I had done for the third cover, just cause I like Lightning Lad, but alas, it will never be, since the website it was for no longer exists... so sad. :>
Was that Deadshot/Terminator fight in Suicide Squad??? (I thought I had ever issue of that...) I would love to check that out...it sounds bitchin'!!

I'm pretty sure that it was in Deathstroke's series. I read it, but didn't have the cash to pick it up. I'm still attempting to track it down since I forgot the issue number. Anyone remeber this?
