Thanks, guys.
Aqua-Lantern is awesome, Scott! Great costume design.
Charlie and Partystarter, those both sound like great amalgam ideas, can't wait to see them!

I'm actually coming up quite blank on an amalgam (that hasn't already been done in the official Amalgam, or here). I'll just sit back and watch.

I'll just have to remember to scan at a smaller size next time. The original was way too big to post. So if you want to see full size click it.

fair enough yeah umm black panter right... now here is the premise of batdeath... (lear thorat, engage Cheaters' naration tone) it was cold and dark in gotham city that night and the air was dense with the stink only the city can put out. thomas and martha wayne along with their son bruce strolled the bightly lit gotham streets enjoying an evenging on the town. the bruces were gothams first family and as they strolled the newly paved marquee lit entertainment district bruce enjoyed the attention he received from passersby, he began showing of the way children do when they are young and the most harmless of stunts seem like daring acrobatics. amidst the skipping and hopping bruce caught his foot on a crack in the cement. the crack may be the only fault in the completly renovated concrete canyons of gotham and bruce stumbles on that one, at that, that night. his new ball rolls into an alley on the outskirts of the freindly side of gotham and immediatly bruces father goes in for the rolling toy. bruce follows suit and his mother goes in to pull bruce away. the alley is dark and a figure steps out of the shadows. that night forever changed bruces life. his father did not die but forfitted his wallet and pride for the safety of his family. bruce was disgusted by his fathers weakness; while he should have stood and fight, his father instead gave up the his sons respect. Secretly Bruce longed to be like that man who stole from his father, he wanted to be in control, he wanted to be impowered. To see the look of fear in his fathers eyes forever tormented bruce and his rage grew for his father and created a demon in Bruce he could not conquer. at a young age bruce let his father know he would receive home schooling and practice marshall arts and at the age of fifteen forged a fake persona to enlist in the military to receive formal training. his relentless training eventually became an obseession driven by the hatred of the week and thirst for dominance. While in the military Wayne continued on active duty, and volunteered for a medical experiment in resisting truth serums while in reality, it was an attempt by the government to covertly create meta-humans through experimentation on human test subjects. Bruce eventually recovered and while an a cave mission a bat attack bruce damaging his eye. again hospitalized, Wayne felt humiliated and would never feel helpless again. At night he escaped the militaries hospital bed and fell into another grueling training regiment with his newly hired butler Alfred. When word reached Thomas and Martha Wayne that their estranged son was alive they tried a countless number of times to reach him. Soon after, both mysteriously dissapeared and were never heard from again leaving Bruce Wayne the Wayne estate. With this reestablished wealth Wayne became a mercenary-for-hire and assumed the name deathbat alluding back to the very last time he felt helpless. EXHALE! as you can see I have vast quantities of free time.
