Freaking finally! I'll be on this later tonight! Looks great from my short browse through so far though! And what a cover! Glad to have this one see the light of day at long last! Wonderful.

This is, as usual, going great =D I'm still finding myself drawn most heavily to the Scarlet Avenger story, which has been phenomenal the whole way through, and pretty heartbreaking this time around to see Lynn having it ripped away from her. Even knowing Lee's the one in the right, it's pretty sad. Granted, these were my favorite parts only because Justin and Danette aren't back together yet Bradamante looks like she's going to be excellent with Justin though, and I can't wait to see how all that plays out. I love Marcie, too. I find her just really funny and great to watch. So dedicated yet not quite gotten the hang of the supervillain bit just yet, yelling back at the picture of Harriet, I might well have to follow that editor's note to secret society and see what happens to her next

First off, thanks for the roll call at the beginning! It helped to refresh me on the ins and outs of the current Soldiers storyline. As for the story itself...well, this was a twist I wasn't expecting! Syl and his nephew are both getting played, but why? It almost seems like Marcie's doing this just for kicks.
Funniest part: Greg dressing Ollie up like pseudo-Johnny Thunder! And he was still using his bow? Maybe Greg should've dressed him like an Indian instead. ;D

Glad to hear from you, Sam and Susan. Glad you're enjoying the various aspects of the Soldiers, there's a lot going on. Glad you thought the recap "page" worked, Susan, I wanted to make it something fun to read as well.
As for costuming, it was actually a reversed Vigilante costume Greg stuck him in, at least as it was in my mind. But now that you mention it, it does resemble the classic JT cowboy garb, doesn't it? LOL regardless, Ollie doesn't much care for it either. We'll see how long it lasts, but as long as the old man refuses to be Green Arrow, he's kind of stuck. heh
As for Marcie, the Harlequin makes her mark at Secret Society of Super-Villains for a bit, and then she'll come back to start toying with the Soldiers again...and she ain't coming along. Nor is she coming with Society partners.
Lynn's story is absolutely tragedy, and she's not done with Sally, that's all I'll say for now.
Take care Don

Aww yeah, glad to see this come together at long last, all those things we talked about in regards to the new Harlequin, and the way SSoSV and 7SoV tie together on different levels, and it was done in such a way that just felt so cool and natural to me. These things just kind of... happen, and it feels natural, and that's all that matters. These connections, if forced, scream at the reader, and no one likes it, but here... I love it! So glad we agreed to collaborate on this.
Aaand the rest of the issue. Let's see. It was good! It's always good. This is the other side of the DC2 that no one expects to really see, and this is one of those things I say all the time I think, but Don, you really do great stuff with the characters and concepts that no one expects to see. And that's why I keep coming back to this book, because I love the obscure, off beat stuff, it's why I love Birds of Prey and why Danger Trail is so enticing. Because we don't get this stuff normally.
And Kid Vigilante! God, if Hal could see Ollie now...
