Post who you would cast in what comic book based film. Just name of actor's if you dont wanna scroll through pages looking for photos (we all know how to google them). Just don't cast dead actors or an old actor in a young role and specify you would use a younger version of them. Think as if you really had to cast these films now (so no casting actors for roles already taken by someone lol). So this is what I would do:
Mary Jane: Evan Rachel Wood Gwen Stacy: Dianna Agron Liz Allen: Hayden Panettiere Curt Connors: Jack Coleman Kraven: Dominic Purcell Otto Octavius: Phillip Seymour Hoffman Norman Osborn: William Fichtner Harry Osborn: Jesse Eisenberg Flash Thompson: Travis Van Winkle Aunt May: Helen Mirren Uncle Ben: William Shatner J. Jonah Jameson: Hugh Laurie/ John C. McGinley Robbie Robertson: Donald Glover Betty Brant: Zooey Deschanel Ben Urich: Jay Karnes
Daredevil/Matt Murdock: Matt Fox Foggy Nelson: Sean Astin Karen Page: Elisha Cuthbert Bullseye: Jason Statham Kingpin: John Goodman Stick (flashbacks): Clint Eastwood Richard Fisk/ The Rose: Mark Pellegrino Ben Urich: Jay Karnes Black Widow: Scarlet Johansen
Luke Cage: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Danny Rand: Ben Foster Shang Chi: Jet Li Jessica Jones: Evangeline Lilly Misty Knight: Kelly Washington
Reed Richards: Billy Crudup Sue Richards: Elizabeth Banks Johnny Storm: Mike Vogel Ben Grimm: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Vincent Von Damme: Rupert Everett Mole-Man: Danny De Vito

I also really wanna see a TV series titled 'District X' set in Mutant Town, an expanding slum type ghetto in NYC home, primarily to mutants, to the extent most homo sapien residents have left and the govenor's and senetor's have officially declared it 'District X' and thus is now an official part of NYC.
It would be an amalgam of X-Factor Investigations, District X and NYX. It would feature as its lead characters Jamie Madrox and his private investigation team as he believes only mutants can realistically handle mutant problems; Ismael Ortega the last human cop who refuses to leave and is struggling to hold together his life with his wife and newborn baby and struggles to merely exist within District X and initially doesn't get on well with his new partner: a mysterious man who wont reveal his past other than the fact he was once 'a cop...of sorts.' His name is Lucas Bishop and he is a mutant and has been placed, along with Izzie, as the two sole official cops operating in Mutant Town. It would also feature a brothel full of mutant girls including X23 (whose connections to Wolverine are not greatly hinted at though her nature as a lab made clone and programmed killer is slowly revealed), Stacy X and other girls featured in thr NYX series. There would be scenarios from time to time featuring Cecilia Reyes and her work as pretty much the only doctor in District X(having left the national health service for mutant discrimination and now operating from her home in mutant town.) her story would begin when Zebra Daddy brings in Kidden Nixon (showing signs of various forms of abuse) to see her which leads her down a path to discovering the brothel and trying to help the girls there, the intro of the shadowy Laura Kinney and her quest to help Laura discover her past. These three focuses of the show dont always necessarily interact but supporting characters intercross and crimes and political issues connect characters that maybe never meet.
Lucas Bishop: Idris Elba Izzie Ortega: Mishca Collins
Jamie Madrox: Nathan Fillion- cocky and seemingly self assured with a great need to prove to himself he is a 'good person'. Still suffering from a recent episode in which he duplicated himself too many times and could not control them all leading his conciousness so divided he didnt know which was the real him. He has collected most of them but by duping so many times the dupes from that period that still exist exhibit independant and extremly polar personalities. One he allows to exist independantly as a priest named Father James but one he is still hunting as he acts a violent criminal presence throughout the world...having recently arrived in Mutant Town. Layla Miller: Dakota Fanning- an enigmatic mutant with unknown powers, possibly even to herself. At one point she temporarily restored Rictor's powers with a touch but not for long. She seems to be able to predict events in varying detail and sometimes it can be percieved she is affecting probability. Though similar to her comic counterpart her powers and history are not the same. Monet St Croix: Cassandra Ventura- A spoilt rich girl whose immense powers make her invaluable to the team. However she is not a team player and conceals a far more violent, passionate and impulsive split personality known as 'M', known only to herself and Madrox. Guido Carosella: Amaury Nolasco (with prosthetics similar to 'Hyde's' in LXG)- the kind hearted and overly defensive best friend of James Madrox. Superhumanly strong and durable he can ehance his strength by drawing on kinetic energy though this does not last long and increases the constant pain he feels from the distortion to his body caused by his power's original manifestation. The comedian of the team and the heart as well as the muscle. Theresa Cassiday: Madeline Zima- A girl with a sonic scream that can cause self propelled flight. Severely distraught and yet also in denial about her father Sean's death she has taken his place on the P.I organization he planned to set up with old friend Jamie Madrox. Rahne Sinclair: Julie McNiven (with varying prosthetic adjustments)- a young mutant with the ability to partially or fully transform into a lupine state. Hunted as a monster until she was found by Madrox who single handedly took on a mob that was attacking her and led her to Mutant Town. Julio Richter: Jared Padalecki- A bisexual, former mutant with seismic based powers. A long time freind of Madrox he was injected with a new form of The Cure that seemingly completely erases mutation. The government hypocrisy with granting mutants their own borough and a conspiracy revolving around a mass depowering plan is a central theme of the show and Rictor acts, from the start, as a reminder things are not right. Shatterstar (appearing later): Ian Somerhalder- a mutant who was forced to fight on an underground reality tv show only found online featuring battle ready human militants (Mauraderers) led by a man named Arcade who hunt down and kill mutant 'contestants'. Freed by X-Factor but primarily Rictor who he started a relationship with.
Laura Kinney/X-23: Summer Glau. Kidden Nixon: Spencer Locke- a time freezing mutant Catiana: Ryan Newman- a mutant that can shapeshift into any animal whose blood she touches Stacy X: Rhona Mitra- a mutant with pheremone control and manipulation. The only fully grown adult in the brothel she is very confrontational toward Zebra Daddy and is very protective of the younger girls; except Laura as she sees Laura as having taken over from her as Zebra Daddy's favourite 'merchandise'. Lil' Bro: Noah Gray-Cabey- a mutant with large psychic abilities but suffers from autism. Catiana's little brother. Zebra Daddy: Danny Trejo- the girl's abusive pimp. Secretly fears Laura but has put her in her place due to her killer programming having been accidently suppressed by trauma. Killed off by X-23 during her first 'episode' when her programming takes over momentarily, an instance that causes Cecilia Reyes to help her get answers. Cecilia Reyes: Tawny Cypress-a mutant doctor working hard for little money. Has force feild projecting powers. Both offensive and defensive.

Just a few odds and ends:
Deathstroke: Ron Perlman- He voiced the guy in the Teen Titans cartoons and despite the goofy anime tone of the show, he always kept it serious and scary. What's more, he actually looks like the dude in real life. Just slap on an eyepatch and you got it.
Hal Jordan: Nathan Fillion- For the same reasons you said. Plus he's been to space before.
Mysterio: Bruce Campbell- I don't care if Raimi's off the Spider-film, Bruce would be great as an over-the-top villain like Mysterio. Hell, Bruce could play the whole damn Marvel universe and i'd dig it.
J. Jonah Jameson: J.K. Simmons- Don't mess with a good thing. Please.

Actually, after reading the first two volumes of 'Chew', my friend and I discussed casting for a show based of it, and here's what we came up with:
Tony Chu: John Cho- The protagonist of the series, Tony Chu is a rookie federal agent and one of a select few in this world with food-based powers. Tony is a cibopath, meaning he can get a psychic impression from anything he eats. Tony can get caught up in conspiracy and craziness, but he's able enough to hold his own and pull himself out of a tight situation. John Colby: Bradley Cooper- Tony's partner when they were cops and again after Tony's first partner went into hiding. Colby is willing to use his badge for personal gain, but it's clear that he is a devoted officer of the law. He often insults Tony, but the two are definately friends. He does a lot of dispiccable things but he's still charming enough to be liked. Also, he's a cyborg. Amelia Mintz: Elizabeth Banks- The love interest of the series, Amelia is a food critic in DC. She also has a food-based power, namely that she's a saboscriver; Amelia can write and speak about food so vividly that anyone who reads or hears her words will have the sensation of taste. Tony fell for her the day they met, and while she barely noticed him, the two do eventually get together.
There are other characters that have yet to be cast by us (Mason Savoy, Mike Applebee, Governor Haupai, the Vampire), but that's what we got so far.
