Wow, Zsasz is a creep...!
This was a House Of Mystery Batman issue, and no mistake! Lots of disturbed individuals, blood and gore, and a guest star (the Question, no less)!
Why does Ms. Head want chaos on the streets of Gotham? What is her agenda?
The scene with Vicki and Bruce was awkward, and the time shifts were a bit confusing--- and is Vic Sage auditioning for the part of a new Robin?--- but overall I liked this issue and look forward to where this is going.

Nice job, Charlie. You really have the character of Zsasz down, but I'm not sure what that means. ;D
Not sure how Vic went from out west to Gotham if this is in continuity, but I know you, and you've always got a plan. ;D
Excellent job. Well worth the wait.

Well worth the wait. Yeah, it should be said that this is set before Mr Sage sets off (again) on his massive drive to Las Vegas (think a month or so before The Question #1)! I hope you all enjoy where I'm going with this book!

"Holy obvious trap"-- sweet.
I've always liked Zsasz and he is written very well here--dark and creepy and scary. And with the ending I smell a conspiracy afoot.
The Question is a great guest star. He's got the humor that Batman lacks. I didn't know he would be the one at the signal.
Looking forward to developments with the females here-- Vicki and Ms. Head (now there's a name), and hoping for a brutal Bats/Zsasz showdown eventually. You always deliver with your fight scenes.

Charlie, great, great issue. I especially enjoyed Vic screwing with Batman. He os one of very few people who can get away with it and you can tell it's only cause just below the surface Batman really likes him.

Great job, Charlie. It's neat to see Batman and Vic together. It's nice to see them playing against each other. Zsasz certainly is creepy, and I can't wait to see who gets to give him his comeuppance, Batman or Question.

An ace issue all told. Very much enjoyed it. Really liked Zasz too, not sure what that says about me. Even better than expected!

I gotta add her ethat my favorite part is Vic singing Brittany in Batmobile. I would nominate this in the top my ten DC2 moments.

Yes, the singing was great, as was threatening to show Bats the glitter collage he made. This Question is a tad more off-the-wall than the one in his own book, but I figure he's just trying to offset Batman's grim n' gritty style. Well done, Charlie, keep 'em coming!

I have to agree with Susan that Vic seemed a little more over the top then usual. You have definitely made the Question your own. Nice way to show off what a nut he is by placing him in a scene with the equally crazy but different character of Batman. It turned out to be an amusing pairing overall.
I have to say that my favorite parts of the tale were the scenes with Zsasz and Miss Head. Great stuff!
I agree with David that the time shifts were confusing and weren't necessary for the story (they rarely are).
Taking a peek at next issue I believe it's a more straight forward tale and a great conclusion to this wonderful issue.

*sigh* I can't believe I've dragged my Question luggage over into this letter column too, but I might as well get it out here now The Question is a very different individual when other people around him, as I think most people are. But yeah, he's just trying to make Bruce smile underneath it all! Check out #12 for more revelations and further hints to what Ms Head is up to...

Question and Zsasz do the insanity thing well, each in their own way.
Yes, Question, stick with Radiohead please. *roll eyes*
How long has Question known who Batman is?
But of coruse the real question is...who is Ms Head?!?

Great issue - Zsasz is extremely creepy, sadistic and mentall, well, just gone.
Took me a while to realise Vic was the Question and not Victor Zsasz (I was almost like "Why is he joking with Bats and not slitting his throat?" then I was like "Oooohhh..." ;D). Did anyone else notice how many Vics there were in this issue? Vicki Vale, Victor Zsasz, Vic...all we needed was Victor Fries to come back from the dead to complete the set!

Dave Yeah, ever since I started using The Question, his name has been this ongoing thing where it's very difficult to use. Calling him Charlie seems almost Mary Sue-ish, so I've tried my best to make him an unstoppable engine of destruction, and stay true to my inspiration for the character-- Justice League Unlimited and Denny O'Neils earlier issues. Thanks for reading!
