Loved it! Best of the week! This is staring to become my favorite cover. There's nothing more appealing then a character that has no idea what's going on, no one has any faith in, and wins through sheer force of will. Here's to hoping the next one comes soon! ;D

I really loved the feeling that we are being drawn in closer to an epic battle. It was easy to get over the fact that Guy wasn't in this issue(mostly). Experiencing Oa and the Guardians through Hals eyes was done quiet well. I am really beginning to enjoy Hal for the great character he is. This is one of the finest examples of what DC2 can be at its best. Strip a character of all its baggage and showcase why they are great! This title is a fun read. You mix humor and character development with big splashes of intrigue and adventure! I can't honestly think of what could make this title any better! Wait, of course I can! More Guy! ;D

You will get a heavy dose of Guy next issue... although it's not what you're hoping for, I'm sure! Epic battle indeed! Interdimensional and on multiple fronts as well! Stick with me, it'll be fun!

Hal puked. In space. That was damn funny! ;D
This thing gets better and better. You write everyone very realistically, and your portrayal of Oa and the rest of the Corps is great. More action would have been nice, but even the buildup in your book is exciting! Can't wait for the Quardian smackdown! ;D

This was an excellent issue. I've enjoyed this entire run so far and always look forward to the next one with great anticipation. I have to agree with Susan, too, Hal throwing up in space made me laugh out loud. And boy did I need that laugh! Thanks for making the Corps such a great read.

This is easily one of my favorite titles in the DC2. It's got everything a Lantern (and Hal) fan could want. I love the humor sprinkled everywhere and the characterizations of the various Lanterns are fantastic. Despite the fact that this was a "set-up" issue I was totally engrossed. And the cover is great, too.

Hey Susan & Starlord, I'm glad you liked the cosmic puke scene! I almost cut it out, but I just couldn't do it! The issue needed a couple of fun spots & this one was just too fun to lose. Thanks Bats! Yeah, it was a set-up issue for sure, but it was a necessary one. I couldn't just toss them all into Qward without an explanation as to why, when & where. That cover was a thorn in my side for a long time, but I finally think I got it right. Thanks for sticking by Hal (and me) through his tumultuous first months! Things start really moving quick here... In fact, next issue pretty much jumps right into the action, and features a very cool cover by Artteach that, well, let's just say it should suck you all in real quick-like! After that it's onto issue #9... Not much I can say about that one except that you won't want to miss it... especially the last couple of scenes!

Wow. This issue was nothing short of amazing. Seeing things through this rookie Hal's eyes made me feel like I was discovering Oa and the Corps all over again. I loved the puking scene, as Susna and Brian pointed out, as well as the impending doom of the inevitable battle that everything seems to be building to. Hopefully, we'll see Hal vs Guy next ish, as well as seeing our hero reach the potential mentioned this time round...
