^^ Aw, please read Killing Game! I'd love to know what you think.
Yet another great installment here, Dragon...you've got Nightwing down perfectly. I really enjoyed seeing him grow from a boy into a man; you've really captured that transition well, especially one as traumatic as this.

I was meaning to read this last month, when it came out, but got too busy. So my response is a little late but, better a late response than no response I suppose.
All I have to say is, "wow". I really enjoyed this, seeing inside of Dick's head, watching the tension between the team and being taken along with Dick during this confusing roller coaster. There's this special touch, something you add to your work, that is always a pleasure to read. It was really fun to see your take on The Titans also. My only complaint though, was it didn't really feel like it was long enough but hey, we don't write pieces for the length. Superb work. You amaze me every time. Keep up the good work.

I must admit, when I read this the first time, the night I was posting it, it was more of a quick skim and I didn't really get the full effect. Now that I am slated to write Teen Titans #10 (the Crisis crossover issue), I decided to go back and re-read all the NW and TT back issues to reacquaint myself with the characters.
This issue blew me away. I know it's been said a thousand times, but Ellen Fleischer can write this character (and will be sorely missed when she departs the title with Issue 10). Not only that, and even though she repeatedly claims plot isn't her strong suit, the emotional and developmental arc she has set Dick on is expertly explored, not excluding the pathos inherent in the recent breakdown of the Bat-family (the death of Julie Madison, and the exile of Dick and Barbara from Gotham).
The Titans are written very well, here, too (especially Roy and Kory).
Now I'm off to re-read the rest of this run!
