Charlie, Chris, and Ramon:
So a little more Squad jabbing. a little Brokeback Lantern. A lot more pop culture bashing.
It amazes me that the three of you have anything left in the tank after this one!
Oh, and in case you misunderstand me this time Charlie, I did enjoy this issue. God help me but I did like it! MR. M is cool and I look forward to his tale next issue!

The tank is always running on fumes, that's just how we roll, filling uo at the last minute. On the edge dawg. And what do you mean by "enjoyed this issue"? This is clearly hate mail. *tut*
I'm not street enough to be accepted into the bossom of Team Powers. It's always "Yo yo yo Wilko, go write some Mizzer Miracle stuff, yow know what I'm saying?"
They never ask me out to play ball.

Well who you going to believe? New kid or honest English bloke? I thought not... Oh yeah, anyway...
Welcome to this bi-months Powers Inc letters column! Where reality and unreality collide in a sweaty orgy of us taking the mick out of all the amazing work you're doing at this site! Introducing Mr Chris Paugh to the team as the third to our two halves of Team Powers! There are pretty colours and everything! Thanks to Dr Dread for the awesome cover which Chris won't stop talking about, and to everyone who dares open the thread to read the story...
Look out for the coming months where Mr Miracle gets his own one shot special tying into something special for the DC2 Universe, and also the very next issue of the series, where Booster Gold does something stupid!
And that's a promise!

My head hurts. My fault, really. With a title like Lost Heads and Flaming Weiners, I should have known better.
LOL. Wonderful read, guys. And I mean all three of you, Harpo, Chico, and Groucho. Admittedly I am past the MTV stage of life and some of the references flew right over this old man's head, but I laughed out loud when PG showed up. And your take on the Nuclear Family was terrific. Keep writing them like this and I'll keep coming back. You've got a fan.

Thanks! I was going for the over the top romance of Gone with the Wind, mixed with Elvis movies, starring superheroes. I hope I got it!

I hope everyone caught the none-too-subtle Infinite Crisis jabs in there, as Biff went all Superboy Prime on they asses.
It was nice to see Buck Fiddy again. I knew he wasn't just a one-note character!
Again, Booster is the standout character here, but I'm really starting to see some nice development. Steel has a lot of Captain America-type potential, Airwave was way underused in this issue--- and I hope we get more from Power Girl than her being mad that people are always "macking" on her.
And on an important continuity note, everyone should read the epilogue with Mr. Miracle again--- it has farther-reaching consequences for the whole DC2 than first meets the eye!

This ish was good! I did catch the none-too-subtle Superboy Prime references in there as well. The Brokeback Lantern scenes were... uh... interesting... yet strangely familiar. The cover was fun, looks like PG is about to give BG a black eye. BRING ON MR. MIRACLE!!!

Aside from the Brokeback Lantern stuff, you guys kind of lost me on this issue. The fight was all over the damn place, I had a hard time following it. Other than that, it was funny as always. PS Mr. Miracle rules!

thaddeus brown is a bad mother [voice:woman]shut your mouth [/voice]
thanks to everyone for leaving comments. one thing i would like to be known about this issue is that it was written in its entirety in oh... 2-3 days. the fight scene was difficult because i am not much of a writer and so it was charlie going over my many mistakes so I will take some of that criticism. `also though, i am a SLOW writer, so when d says airwave was way underutilized i have to definitely agree, what you can expect on is seeing way more of vapor and airwave next issue along with booster, steel, looker, and the usuals. oh and prysm, charlie has a lot planned for that girl. am i forgetting anything? thanks to the co writers and d for being able to put this out in such short notice.

I want to thank Ramon and Charlie for inviting me to work on Powers,Inc. with them. Despite all the black eyes it is a lot of fun working on Powers with these talented guys and I look forward to next issue. We have some big stuff planned that will rock your socks off. Or atleast make you giggle til milk comes out of your noses.

Very readable. Liked the fight scene, the Nuclear family, and especially the epilogue. For some reason though, no doubt a humour gene defect on my part, I didn't find this issue particularly funny. The shifting tenses were also a bit distracting.
Great cover.

I think you'll find you had an amazingly great sense of humour... But then we stole it, distilled it, and used it to write this amazingly story. I mean, there were bits of sly humour, but it's not all Laugh Out Loud nowadays. That's not the aim of the book (contrary to popular belief).

Well, I sat down and read all three chapters, and it was good. Could use a beta-reader, but otherwise that, it was very enjoyable and funny. I liked the imagining of the Nuclear Family. I loved the way you characterized Power Girl and the Hank Heywood Steel.
And I liked Biff's little unintentional channeling of Superboy-Prime. It was awesome.
Expect this to be in my regular reads, alongside JSA.

Powers, Inc. Update!
Due to several factors Powers has been on an unplanned hiatus. Don't worry, cry or throw things at us, it will be back and worth the wait. Soon enough there will be more Powers than you can shake a stick covered in barbwire at.There will be comedy, tragedy, blood, comedy, romance, new members, old members, comedy, tears, sex, violence, rock-n-roll, reality television, comedy, spaceships oh yeah and people will be made fun of.
Did I mention comedy?
We have a new editor who I would like to mention and welcome aboard the crazy train, Starlord a.k.a Brian a.k.a the dude who writes New Outsiders(which you really should read).
The newness is set in place and the era of Powers,Inc. is on the horizon so be afraid.
You are all on notice.
I return you to your regularly scheduled crisis.
