I like the rotating spotlight that's going on here. Metallo really does shine here; much like the others, he has more power than I thought he had. Writing from the mind of a robot is always interesting; it seemed a little bit distracted but I guess that's the character.
I like what we're building up to. The 100 and IU both seem like cool organizations and i'm looking forward to seeing them fight the Society. So, i'll be back next month.

Writing from the mind of a robot is always interesting; it seemed a little bit distracted but I guess that's the character. Metallo is a blast to write, and I can't wait to see him reappear in Action Comics. His power-set has been increased, he's going to reappear in #6 and it's going to be awesome. I hope. Ehaha. I like what we're building up to. The 100 and IU both seem like cool organizations and i'm looking forward to seeing them fight the Society. So, i'll be back next month. The 100 are going to appear in the first Secret Society of Super Villains Special, and the truth of their organisation is going to be fully revealed. IU reappear in #6, and it's going to go down very differently to what you expect... Thanks for reading, UDC!

Another well done issue. Loved the John Corben detective scenes. Catman seems to steal the scenes he's in, and this issue's no exception, even though it was a small part. Looks like the $% is going to hit the fan next issue. Can't wait for the next installment.... Oh nevermind

Is it wrong to say that you've got an eerie grasp on these demented villains? ;D Another fun issue and I love the fact that you put Mentallo in the first person. I thought that was an interesting choice that really paid off. Catman rules!!!

Oh nevermind John Corben is, as they all are, a fun character to write, and his investigation was a joy to follow. He was just a complete and utter bastard, and he'll continue to be a complete and utter bastard as the series continues. I've started writing #7, and I just want to have him in it. All the time. Oh and yes, the $%^& will hit the fan. Oh it will...

So we are treated to a Metallo-centric episode, to borrow a term from another large ensemble series. I wasn’t too sure at first given my views on first person, but it worked very well here. Another brutal and highly enjoyable installment. Like you have with the likes of Catman, you continue to redefine and expand on who these characters are. You continue to do wonders with Parasite and Metallo. Treating the reader to a raw and unapologetic look into the minds and actions amping up the villain factor well beyond their established DCU counterparts.
It’s obvious you have really gotten into this title and it shows in the finished product. It seems erratic at first glance with the focus always shifting, but the unpredictable nature of the title is perhaps its biggest appeal.
This issue had a lot going on moving the various plot threads along while throwing out a few more twists and surprises. Not as powerful as the last issue but enjoyable none the less.
Loved the Joey Jarin Metallo cover, though I had to seek it out from the solicit, since it isn’t in the actual issue for some reason?
4 stars.

So we are treated to a Metallo-centric episode, to borrow a term from another large ensemble series. I wasn’t too sure at first given my views on first person, but it worked very well here. Yes, this was on the cards from the get go... and Metallo's role only increases toward the finale! Great character to try and wrap one's head around, and I'm pleased you liked it. Parasite, for sure, and Metallo too, they're all so interesting to use, but they've not been used to their best by the writer who used them in the Superman titles (the writer being, well, me). This was an opportunity to rehabilitate them, and ready them for roles in Action Comics back when Pat was the writer, but now that I'm back on that title... well, some plans have changed, but some haven't. It’s obvious you have really gotten into this title and it shows in the finished product. It seems erratic at first glance with the focus always shifting, but the unpredictable nature of the title is perhaps its biggest appeal. With so many threads, and so many villains, I'm glad that it's not become a crutch to enjoy the series. I do know I need to focus in on elements, but for the most part, the second half of our first year is much more structured... well, actually, saying that, no, it's not, but at least I tried This issue had a lot going on moving the various plot threads along while throwing out a few more twists and surprises. Not as powerful as the last issue but enjoyable none the less. Thank you. Loved the Joey Jarin Metallo cover, though I had to seek it out from the solicit, since it isn’t in the actual issue for some reason? 4 stars. I'll sort that out right now. Don't know what happened here. Thanks again!
