Thank you for the compliment! I too love Egyptian lore. That's why I think that the concept of Hawkman is a great character, that unfortunately has been horribly mis-handled by DC until recent years. That's also why I think 'The Immortal Legend of Hawkman', written by Idlewilder on this site is so brilliantly written. If you liked this issue, just wait! It gets so much better! And pay special attention to the brilliant cover of this issue done by Tupper... there are hints on it as to what happens next!

You people are going to cost me my job. I sit down to just puruse a title I have a passing interest in, and now I'm hooked! I actually had goosebumps at the last line! Absolutely fantastic cover Tupper!

Very cool! I find myself logged on at work all the time too... Trying in vain to hide from my co-workers!
I'm glad you liked the story & like I said, stay tuned it gets better! Tupper did do an amazing job, didn't he? ;D

You've got my attention, that's for sure. I don't know where you're going with this, but I'll keep coming back. And Tupper, that was a FABULOUS cover! I spent a couple minutes just studying it before reading the story.

you guys are totally making me blush! And just wait until you see the next two! Scott's got a hell of a good story here and it really hits home in issue 3....Issue 2 is good also, but 3...well worth the wait kids.

I saved this to read last because I had high hopes...and was not dissapointed! This was excellent. I loved the journal entries at the beginning and everything with Hector was superb! I will anxiously be awaiting the next installment!
and I can't say anything about the cover that anyone else hasn't said, except it is now in my top three favorites on this site. Superb work all the way around.
