You've got a good grasp of all the characters here, Idle! Its such a good issue, with lots of tangents i can't wait to see followed!

I second HoM. You definatly have a wonderful grasp on the characters and some very cool threads interlaced through out the book. Hats off on this one too Idle!

One thing that can always sell me on a story with a DC owned characters (especially from the Bat-family) is if I can hear the voices of the Animated Series casts as I'm reading the story. I got this in terms of Robin/Dick this issue and it was great.

Excellent introduction to the group and a nicely played story. It's really fun to see how interlocked the DC2 is already. Characters, events, and places overlapping into other titles. Cool! I wasn't exactly sure how you were going to put together the team's history and where they stood in continuity but I think this works great. Super work, D.!

I'm going into this with virtually NO prior knowledge. I know Dick Grayson and that's about it. And I'm loving this!

Great job. Nice characterization. I can see relationships forming. I like the way the characters are being brought into each others life. I hope that future issues will deal with the strains of leading a double life on college students....oh wait, isn't that what most college students do anyway?

This was just fun. From start to finish... fun.
All of this allusion to Robin/Batman/Batgirl/Joker thing is driving me nuts! I wanna know what the Hell is happening with the Bat-Fam!
This was the first of our books to have me actually laughing outloud (in my office, with our VP in the next room, I might add)
Speedy - perfect characterization... "I'm a Pimp!" Wally (re: Speedy's name) - "Defferent connotation entirely."
And I agree I hear animated character voices each time a character speaks.
EXCELLENT ISSUE!
BOO-YAH!

Good, but it felt rushed. I've always been hit or miss on TT, so maybe that's it. Kory and Dick in a liplock 10 seconds after they meet was hilarious, though -- she could've just touched him with her hand to make contact, but noooooo...

He was just following established continuity with the quick lip-lock. I actually think they were together longer before the kiss here than in the actual DCU TT. Though there he was in full Robin attire & the first thing out of her mouth was: "Wow, you're really cute" afterwards.

I must say that you really know the characters, I feel as if I am reading the actual comic book. I will be visiting this site often for updates.

Liked the cover with its echoes of NTT 1.
Thought it was a good opener, and it was nice to see the original Titans (although I kept finding myself wishing for Bob Haney's groovy '60s lingo, sad person that I am). Liked the Speedy comment and also the fact that Donna Troy knows who she is (presumably this was a reference to the "Who is Donna Troy?" story).
The first few sentences seemed a bit misplaced since Robin kept the same costume throughout the story and he still appears to be wearing it on the cover of next issue (which I haven't got round to reading yet, but I'm about to).

Good catch on the who is Donna Troy line, Mark! That's exactly what I had in mind when I wrote it.

I really liked it. It was fun to read my favs back together again. I have one question. Is that how you really remember Wally? I remember him being the 'player' back then and Roy just tried to keep up. When Roy was even with them. He was just a part timer in the begining.

I think there could have been more character development. I.e scenes between the guys and Donna. They met and became friends too quickly in my eyes. Good introduction issue in all.

As good as Batman #0, the characters were really well developed and the story really caught me.
