Fun stuff. Granted, there's still a lot of people that I don't know and many storylines occuring at the same time, but there was good action and characters. Plus, we dropped the formalities and called Roy's daughter Lian. Been waiting for that one.

Great issue, Mark, and a definate improvement on last month's! There is so much going on here, I had to go back and glance at some back-issues as a refresher... The Royal Flush Gang can be difficult to keep straight sometimes ! Loved the way you explained "Nightwing's" romantic revelation of last issue--- and I love how you just keep digging the ex-Boy Wonder into a deeper hole! Flamebird was on the cover, but I didn't see her in this issue... There's a mystery going on there, that's for sure!

I was given the wrong information it would appear.... yeeees.... actually I was given the right information but I misread it and drew before thinking so what you got was a titans team composed of the different june contest entries fighting trigon despite a few of them not appearing in the issue... my bad...

Thanks, David, for your kind comments here and in this week's Planet DC2. Well, Flamebird's appearance was Ramon, as usual, giving me way more than I asked for. As for the mystery of Flamebird, next issue will finally reveal whatever happened to that girl of tomorrow.

actually I was given the right information but I misread it and drew before thinking so what you got was a titans team composed of the different june contest entries fighting trigon despite a few of them not appearing in the issue... my bad... Well, to be fair to Ramon here, the fact that my cover description contained a list of numerous characters fighting Trigon (most of them from the June contest) made it a ridiculously easy mistake to make. Personally, I was overjoyed to see the new Titans finally make their cover debut, and I'm only sad that I didn't write a Trigon fight anywhere near as dramatic as the one depicted. Great cover, Ramon.

Maybe Mark, you could work in a "Previously In Teen Titans" feature ala Suicide Squad?

Bloody hell! This is all picking up speed isn't it? Really enjoyed Element's distraction ("'tis true!") and I'm loving the growing mystery. Kind of peeved the Nightwing <3 Donna thing was a fakeout (how cool would that have been?) but it's a clever reveal. Anyway, I always thought that Dick would love Donna in a brotherly way, so that would have been another way to brush it under the rug. All in all, another tight issue! This book is really becoming one of books I'm looking forward to every month! Thanks Mark!

You fooled me, Mark; I beleived that Dick had feelings for Donna so completely that I acknowledged it in my script for #23! Gah! Poor Brian's got even more editing to do now.....
Trigon feasting on Lian made me cringe horribly! :/
Trigon, Dark Raven, AND the Shadow Being.....I have no idea how you're gonna solve all of this in only one issue!

Maybe Mark, you could work in a "Previously In Teen Titans" feature ala Suicide Squad? It's a possibility, although as a reader I tend to find such things dull to read, and because of the concentration of information I rarely take it all in. I usually try, and possibly usually fail, to recap what happened previously somewhere in the story instead. Anyway, I'll bear your idea in mind although, with the amount that's gone before, I'm afraid it might actually lead to summaries longer than the stories themselves.

Sorry that the fakeout peeved you, but at least it doesn't exclude the possibility of Dick loving Donna.

Well, as I implied in my reply to Charlie, I've left it totally ambiguous who Dick has feelings for. I'll leave that for you and future writers to sort out if you wish. Yeah, I kind of knew it would. Sorry if that a bit over the top but I felt that I really needed to have Trigon doing something more evil than firing eye blasts and orating. Me neither.
