That is probably the craziest story arc i've ever read, but it was still very well put together. Kudos.

A wild ride! A very good conclusion (and yeah, the Deus Ex Machina WAS a bit of a Deux Ex Machina...) and a very creepy final resting place for the Shadow Demon! I liked how Gar isn't an idiot, and I like how everything was tied up just before our big second year event! Well done Mark, very well done!

Not completely sure I've tied everything up (well, I know I haven't), but hopefully I can do that with my final issue next month. Also, a quick thanks to my editor Brian who inadvertently gave me the idea for the Deus Ex Machina.

How do you defeat an undefeatable Demon lord? By cutting him in half with a Boom Tube. Ha!
Yay for Gar being clever!
In all the worlds, I never expected this weird friendship between Babs and Kory. Even though they both know they're fighting over Dick. Kudos!

How do you defeat an undefeatable Demon lord? By cutting him in half with a Boom Tube. Ha! Aargh, you've given away a major plot point. And now I've gone and quoted it, so even more readers will see it. Double Aaargh! Hooray, you didn't give away a plot point this time, plus your mention of Gar gives me a chance to plug my year-in-the-making Beast Boy one-shot that'll be out later this year, so I guess we're almost even again. Well, misery loves company, so it seemed obvious that Kory would seek Barbara out, if only so that she could make Barbara feel sadder than herself. Here's just some of the scintillating dialogue that failed to make this issue: "Hey, Barb, Dick loves Donna," revealed Starfire. "Oh, no!" exclaimed Barbara, scrabbling for the right words but then realizing that she was no longer in a Mature Readers title. She also then realized that Dick wasn't the only fish in the sea, let alone the Titans. "Well, at least I've still got a fall-back planned," she said, remembering the backseat of the Arrowcar. "Roy?" asked Starfire hesitantly. "He's gone to the future to fight a demon king." "He wouldn't leave without telling me," gasped Barbara, seeing her own crestfallen face reflected back at her in Kory's blank eyes. "He tells me everything." "Did he mention his daughter?" asked Kory innocently. "Daughter!?" screamed Barbara, as she rushed to the nearest drinks cabinet. Anyway, Jay, thanks for commenting, but give away a plot point on this letters page again and next time you'll have to sit through a whole page of deleted scenes. Capiche?

Ha! I just finished the issue and that deleted scene was awesome (Poor Babs has been haunted by the backseat of the Arrowcar since New Outsiders #1)! Punish us with more! Great "ending" to a great arc (I say "ending" because there are more than a few dangling plotlines--- what the heck is going on with Flamebird?!? And we surely haven't seen the last of Evil Raven), and a novel way to deal with a giant Demon Lord with a decidedly dry sense of humor! For such momentous goings-on, this felt like an intimate little character story, with especially nice touches on Roy and Starfire. Nice work, too, with some of the newer Titans, like Plastique, Arrowette and Woodchucker. I love how Element provoked Trigon! I will miss Mark on this title, but I hear the new writer is pretty good, too

Thanks for the exalt, Brian, and now on to David's letter. Ha! I just finished the issue and that deleted scene was awesome (Poor Babs has been haunted by the backseat of the Arrowcar since New Outsiders #1)! Punish us with more! What? And have Brian fall out of his chair again? Hmmm, tempting. Thanks for the kind comments, and those plotlines will hopefully be undangled next issue in the Crisis crossover issue. Yeah, he's great, so the title's being left in safe hands. Still, I'll miss me on this title too, but I'll save my big goodbye speech for next issue's letter column.

Thanks, Q. I'm always interested in finding out what the readers think, so your words are in no way redundant. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment.
