This issue was a mixed bag for me. I loved the various Titans' interactions and continue to enjoy the tension between Terra and Cyborg and the bonds between "Beastie Boy" and Terra. Overall, the personalities shown and the characters all largely had great chances to shine, and that made this fun to read when things focused on them. I especially liked seeing Wonder Girl get to trounce her team, that was cool. Rarely do we get to see ole Donna really get to unleash, or at least, get to do it effectively. The plot itself, and the villain and his motivations and schemes, brought down the issue for me though. He is very shallow and vague a character still, in this second part, and so when we go to focus on him, it detracts from the story for me, because he's just there to be the black hat. He says what he needs to say, does what he needs to do, and his story is lacking, and that makes the overall story lack. Still, there's more to this tale, and maybe part three we'll finally get to see what's what with this creepy little fella and get a better sense of him. Some times, getting to see the story as a whole really can help. I am looking forward to issue three and learn the answers to this story and to see how the Titans save the day. Take care Don
