Bloody Hell! That was pretty intense. Dinah is blatantly under some kind of control, and it's foolish that none of the team called her on it, but it was nice seeing Eel do something about it. Loved his POV on his powers, and the hint of his prior life was perfectly done. I can't help but think that Kate overreacted toward Ramsey, but I understand why she was so angry, and rightly so! I just think that this is going to drive a further wedge between her son and herself. Shame. Thought it was very awful what happened to Plas, and his ordeal was very... Taut. I was gripped by it. And an annual is coming?! Fantastic

And an annual is coming?! Fantastic Thank you Sir! Glad you enjoyed it. I've felt way off my game with this issue, but I hope I got the main points across. Well, if Canary is under some kind of control, how long has she been under it. Hmmm.... I can't blame Kate for her anger either. If some one took one of my kids, I'd probably explode. As for Plas, who knows where in the DC2 he'll turn up next... if ever! And next issue is the Annual, and the final act in The Fero Corporation saga that starts in two weeks in Action Comics #33!

Oooh.. I didn't like this much. Plastic Man gone? Batman Gone? It's good writing, I don't think I like the plot though... I will follow it in Action though. Sorry Brian... Not much more to say.... *** from me.

Will there be any new New Outsiders members after this crossover? Correction: New NEW New Outsiders. Frankly, this story was not the best. After Reddie's return, there seem to be too many "quiet" issues until the Ferro Crisis comes to fruition. This isn't to say the issue wasn't good. Dinah's meltdown is foreboding and very well written. Plastic Man, 00-agent was a fun read. His banter with Reddie was also funny and kinda sweet in it's own way. Kate's story continues to be dramatic throughout the this series. It almost brought tears to my eyes when she finally found Ramsey. Her personal drama is probably some of the best work i've read and I hope against hope it comes to a happy ending. Again, this issue wasn't top of the line, but it was still a good read. -UDC

Not much more to say.... *** from me. Sorry you didn't like this issue as much, and in many, many ways, I can't blame you. As for the plot. All I can ask is that you hang in there, because there really is a LOT of surprised coming next month. Action will reveal the truth about Fero. GA will reveal an even bigger surprise about... someone. And New Outsiders Annual #2 is so action packed that you're going to be left gasping for breath.

Frankly, this story was not the best. After Reddie's return, there seem to be too many "quiet" issues until the Ferro Crisis comes to fruition. I agree that these last few issues have been a slow build up to some new stories. Just hang in there and I hope it will pay off for you. Dinah's attitude and decisions will be explained in the Annual. And glad you liked the PM and RT stuff. I am glad that you are enjoying Kate's story. I've really been working hard to not only bring Kate into her own as a person and a hero, but to be honest to the idea that she is a parent, and as a parent, she'll do whatever she has to to protect her child. No, this issue wasn't top of the line, and it was the first thing I said to Mark when I sent it to him. I will continue to work and do my best to make each issue as enjoyable as I can. As always, I thank you for reading and responding honestly.

I enjoyed this issue more than others, but I think that's because I might enjoy more building issues where it's needed. You're building up to something big and so this issue ratcheted all sorts of tension up higher and higher. Very interesting. I am very curious to see the truth about Fero come out for sure. My one criticism is some of the villainy in question. MORE mind control? I mean, I don't know what the process being worked on Dinah is right now, but the effect is the same. Batwoman's programmed with Red Tornado, the Cult of Blood makes a large portion of them slaves, now Dinah...it's all very close together and kind of repetitive now. Sorry, but that part is falling flat as a result. Fortunately, the rest of it is very good, so it makes up for it. Good issue. Take care Don

You know, I really thought Manhunter was going to kill him. But I'm glad she finally got one up on Huntress. Black Canary's domination seems....abrupt, but I'm sure you'll explain it. Oh, Plas.... I still have no idea who the Fero Corporation are, but I think time travel might be involved.

I'm glad you liked it Don. As I said, I wasn't very happy with the whole package on this one, but like I've always stated... art in any form is subjective. And as for Fero: Action Comics #33 will start the ball rolling on some huge revelations. That's a very good point, Don. Although I think Blood's followers, for the most part, are lost souls looking for something to grab on to. I really can't say more about Dinah (but I will say, keep in mind the Dinah and Ollie fight from last issue ), because the explanation will be revealed in the Annual next month, and it's not going to sit well with a couple of our heroes. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, though. Thanks for taking the time!

You know, I really thought Manhunter was going to kill him. But I'm glad she finally got one up on Huntress. I have to admit, I thought she was going to kill him, too. I'm not sure I could have held back if I were in her shoes. And just how much can this poor woman take, anyway? What's there to explain? She wears fishnets and she's become dominating. I think that's enough right there. Next issue, my friend. Plas isn't looking to good at the moment, is he? Time Travel? Interesting guess. You might just want to check out Green Arrow #11... (the second part of the Fero cross-over.

It gets boring having the same members after a while. New blood must be used at some point!

That's what I mean - we've had 6 members of the New Outsiders around since issue 1.

I see what you're saying, Sir, and in part I agree. However, some of the best runs in comic history (Uncanny X-Men, and New Teen Titans) had a rather solid team for nearly 50 to 100 issue's and told some very powerful stories. The New Outsiders is NO WHERE NEAR those masterpieces and I AM NOT comparing it to them at all. I just think that if the stories are there, and strong enough, you don't have to have a lot of changes in members. Now with that being said, I will do something that I rarely do (because my super awesome Editor usually throws old furniture at me when I do ) and give you a bit of a spoiler. With NO's membership having nearly doubled in the last year, we are going to approach the team in a different fashion after this months Annual. In fact, this months Annual is really going to be the catalist on how the team functions in the future. More on that at the end of the month. And don't forget to check out this month's Action Comics for the first big reveal of our Fero Corporation storyline. Roy and I have been working extra hard to make this three part story fun, exciting, and with lots of twists and turns. It's a mini summer event that we hope people will enjoy!

This issue felt a bit different then the previous ones. It wasn’t bad, just different. I think a lot of it had to do with Kate and how she reacted to what happened to her son. Sure, she overreacted a bit but what parent wouldn’t? I was shocked a bit when she knocked out Huntress but inside I smiled. This won’t help the situation between them any time soon. Dinah seemed to be overacting a bit as well, but I imagine it has everything to do with Furst and Ferro Corp! The bits with Plastic Man were very well done. The exchange between him Red Tornado was classic. And what PM found in the purse… ;D The ending was a bit of a shocker! I am still not sure whats going on but the answers are just around the corner! I liked the cover but it made be a bit disappointed that the team-up promised on the cover was shorter then I hoped. All and all it was a solid issue. The upcoming payoff crossover should be big! 4 stars.

I'll respond to all of these soon, John, but I did want to thank you SO much for taking them time to go through all these back issues and to respond to every one of them. That's quite a feat and I do appreciate it.
