A worthy finale to a very tight story arc! It was a roller-coaster ride, from start to finish, and I'm loving what I'm seeing. With the continuing threads from the Injustice Unlimited crew tightening, I thought the battle with Starbreaker was pitch perfect, Hawkman and Kid Eternity's plan of escape brilliant (Jules!) and every other moment in the issue bam-bam-bam, better than the last! Loved the defeat of Starbreaker, Manitou Dawn is such a strong character (and will be appearing in Wonder Woman soon!) and even though you're not a massive fan of her DCU!Proper characterisation, I have to say that this is above and beyond anything they did with her over there. Heck, she's in limbo right now anyway.
Bravo, Don, back next month!

as always, your ablilty to weave plots together and have so much going on without confusion is just shining in Justice League. I really enjoyed the whole scene with Katar and Kit and Jules Verne. All the groups had really distinct feels to them. Gypsy's still adorable. Dawn's last attack at the end was really extra-beautifuly written, too. Can't think of anything else to do but gush, so just take it as a 5-star review!

Wow, this is the week for battles! I'm getting worn out between this one, Shazam, Suicide Squad and Flash. Another fantastic issue and a clean wrap up to a kick butt story. Man, the JL sure do like to ram their jets into the bad guys. LOL! The fight scene's were well written and with all the characters and villains about, was extremely easy to follow. You've really taken the DC2's number 1 team and made them a formidable group. A nice blend of the comics and the television show (both old and new). And a magnificant cover. Made me yearn for my days as a kid on Saturday mornings, eating my cheerio's and waiting for the Superfriends to come on. Excellent job everyone! Can't wait to see what's next! Hmmm, that reminds me, I've got a bit of writing to do...

Yeah, I rmember the Wonder Twins, and I'm impressed with what you've done with them. But the real winner here is Starbreaker. Yikes, yikes, yikes!

Thanks one and all for the compliments. This was a fun climax to write, and I'm glad it was apparently a fun one to read. Charlie, glad to see you liking the threads coming together. There's some long-standing stories that will begin to really come together involving IU, and I can't wait to get to them. As for Jules Verne's guest-starring role, I'm glad to see him get so well-received. It was tough to figure out who to use exactly, but I'm glad I went for Jules. And let me say, getting to do Katar and Kit together was different, because they're two characters with nothing to bring them together really. Seeing them have to deal with each other as a result is just challenging fun. And thanks also for your words on Dawn, I'm definitely enjoying how her character develops as I write her. Sam, I'm glad you liked the description for Dawn's attack. I was hoping to get across that slo-mo action sequence climax, and I think it worked. Especially with the Hawks involved (a great pair of love-birds to write about, trying to come up with different and contentious ways to demonstrate their caring for each other). And Gypsy is adorable, isn't she? Brian, I agree. Seeing the Wonder Twins on the cover, ready for action, activating powers, I could hear the classic theme in the back of my head. Applause to Roy for the redesigns on their costume and making them look tough. And the League jet-budget has GOT to be high, that's for sure. Jay, thank you. Making Zan and Jayna come across as tough and competent is difficult. But let's face it, Jayna has always come across with a buff power (same as Changeling's really, and no one thinks of him as a weak link on Titans). Zan however, suffers from Aquaman syndrome, and he really shouldn't. The range of ability for his water-transformation power should be better than a pail of water or an ice bridge without rails. We'll see more of his power tricks in the issues to come. Thanks again everyone, and wait until next issue when the League faces...a jack and jill! Take care Don

I've been reading the back issues here at DC2 and "Justice League" has more than lived up to its title, bringing together the greatest heroes in the DCU--and some new blood, as well. I loved the "A Game of Escalation" arc with an awesome conclusion to some of the ongoing threads with room for more. Injustice Unlimited is a great concept and a strong adversary for our heroes. It's good to see the League's global reach and responsibilities. Byth was a great villain to knock out at the conclusion of this arc, and I'm interested in a very different version of "the Wonder Twins." I'll be reading more soon!
