This was just a straight-up fun issue. Got a little suspense in there but the humor really shined. Both strippers were hilarious, and I think Jean's grandma actually made me tear up a little laughing XD I do like seeing more of the new kids as their personalities continue to come into focus, so it was a good choice to have their story in there as well. It is just wonderful to remember that these characters are so close to each other, with their friendships and that they can sit and get along like this even without a big threat to face.

Very nice issue, Don and Brian! Loved the camaraderie between the groups of heroes, and that Grace moment? That was hilarious. The stories the men told to each other were spot on, and I enjoyed the bitchy banter between Rachel and Kate. That was tres amusing. Manhunter came across much lighter here, though that's probably because of the title. Helena taking the role of the pessimistic Batman figure was a laugh-out-loud moment, I have to admit!
The two writers' work came together perfectly, and I couldn't even tell whose was who, though I guess... I could probably take a wild guess. Anyways, a nice quiet issue, and I can't wait for Justice League to continue with this tight direction!

finally got a chance to check this out, and glad I did. I loved the story of the twins and Gypsy (always been a huge fan of hers, and really loving the way the Wonder Twins are being worked into the DC2 mythos)
As for the bachelor party, several great laugh out loud moments, and it can be said that Grace's first "exposure" was in Justice League, not New Outsiders. LOL!
cover was excellent (as they always are from Roy).
I want to really thank Don for allowing me to be a part of this issue. I can't believe it's been a year since Ray and Jean became engaged. This was a real priviledge to be involved with and a lot of fun as well. Thank you Sir for allowing me to be a part of this celebration.

I wanna say a lot of clever stuff here.
But I can only say BWAHAHAHAHA!
And, I suppose, Kudos to the kids!

This was so much fun to write, with Brian offering up a great segment that had me laughing. I'm glad it was so well received. The bachelor party was a blast to write, and thank you very much, Brian, for letting me write Grace for a moment. Talk about a cameo, huh? Or in her case, maybe a pair of cameos?
And it's great to see I'm getting some love for the kids. It's not easy to capture readers with the Twins especially, and it's great to see their story is working.
Sorry for the delays on the Annual and the regular series, but we'll get them up very soon.
Take care Don

Congratulations on an awesome one-shot. This issue had some hilarious parties, action, and great emotional beats. "Hera, yes," made me laugh out loud on the subway. I love seeing superheroes in slice-of-life situations such as this, and hope to read more in the future. Great work!

I love seeing superheroes in slice-of-life situations such as this, and hope to read more in the future. Great work! Don always brought a very human voice to all the characters he wrote, and I think Justice League was a great place for that style. Everyone felt like they had exterior lives, everyone was unique, and nothing about his stuff was staid. I always loved talking story with him, because he forced you to come at things from a different angle, and I know that my best work wouldn't have been as good as it ended up being without his input! Be it bathos, pathos, or sheer comedy, Don always had the eye for prose and the ear for dialogue to make it sing.
