It's been a long time since i've read a murder mystery. And it's quite a good one to. Some very fascinating breaks in the case:
The inclusion of Robin (Good to see what Babs thinks of the new Boy Wonder) Paul Kirk (Hopefully, he'll shed some light on the Order's place in the grand scheme of the world) Helena's mom (What's her part in this?) The new Vigilante (Who is probably not Adrian Chase. And will get a whuppin for dressing like him) (Although I wouldn't mind if he returned from the dead. Helena deserves some happiness after all of this crap)
Also, the new HQ incorporates the weirdest and best elements of sci-fi. I'd love to see more of it in the future.
As always, you're keeping the title running efficiently and consistently great. I'll be back next month.

This is frustrating Brian... you're forcing me to come back next month... Just kidding. great extension of the story... I like to see the evolution of Reddy and Plastic. God there are so many different seeds out there that makes you wonder if these characters could support their own books... I mean I would love to read Babs or Kate... Kate.. poor Kate.. what are you doing to yourself!!!!!!!!! Anyway, ***** from me. **** Cover is better this time around. Good stuff, gentlemen keep it up.

again an outstanding issue. you leave the mystery of who the killer might be open but at the same time you lay a few false tracks for us readers to follow. You are a bad man! Loved the cliffhanger. Can't wait to see how this whole story continues and works out and if you really go the route we talked about yesterday.

So, does this issue go before or after Nightwing 34?

Vigilante. Crikey. I was not expecting that final scene reveal, and I have to say, I'm really impressed by the change in tone of this arc. We've gone procedural, and I love a good detective story. I'm intrigued as to where you're going with this story, and I thought the pacing was spot on Brian! Great dialogue, great new base (sounds like somewhere I'd come up with ) and great story developing! Bravo! Oh, and Roy, that cover was awesome. Loved the simplicity, but thought it was still really effective. Gonna' miss you bro.

The order is a story that is building, and has been, since about issue #16, but will come to fruition very soon. Robin and Helena's mom will be explored more next month. As for Vig, well, keep reading. Wish I could say this was totally my idea, but to be honest, I stole the basic idea from the book Authority and the design of the place from the HBO prison show: OZ. Thank you Sir. I always look forward to your comments. You're one of a handful that have stuck by this title for a long time and it never goes unappreciated.

This is frustrating Brian... you're forcing me to come back next month... Good. ;D Funny you should say that. I've been kicking around an idea of doing a 4 issue mini like Marv and George did with the Titans back in the eighties, and focus on 4 different characters in each issue. Hmmm... [/quote] Yeah, Kate just can't catch a break. Although, there may be one coming up soon. Thanks for reading and responding. I really appreciate it.

So, does this issue go before or after Nightwing 34? I am going to say after. Although I do owe Ellen and Batkid a HUGE apology. I had asked Charlie if it was alright to use Robin for a while, but not the ladies. I'm really sorry Batkid and Ellen.

Hope to see you back again next month. As for Batman (who is Dick Grayson now), the poor guy is overworked as it is, one more group will put him way over the edge. Although I do recommend all of the Batbooks at the moment since they are full of Batman and Robin.

And ummm... unless you know something I don't, Roy isn't going anywhere when it comes to New Outsiders. It's the one book he said he will continue to do. Right Roy? Roy? ROY!!!!!

More outstanding work. The mystery deepens, and Huntress gets a major shock. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out and how Helena will be affected by the entire goings-on during this arc.
This team gets better for me with each issue. Even the characters I'm not as familiar with (Grace, Anarky, Manhunter) I find I'm enjoying a lot more. Even Reddy, who is a character I know well and never really cared for, is becoming more interesting. It's a riot to see him playing the unwitting straight man to Plas's zaniness.
The new base is a terrific idea, and something you'll be able to explore a lot more as you go on. Tremendous possibilities here.
This title brings such consistent quality. It seems like you're never off your "A-game" , Brian.

Thank you and Huntress did indeed get a shock. The after effects of this mystery are going to haunt both Helena and Kate (and at least three others) for a very long time. I'm glad the team is coming together for you in an enjoyable way. Just don't get too comfortable with them... Glad the new base is getting the seal of approval. I was very nervous about that. The Outsiders "home" will always be Las Vegas. But without Ollie's cash flow around, I felt they needed a way to get to other places. And yes, it does open up an endless opportunity of adventures. Thank you very much. Very kind words and I appreciate them, and appreciate you coming back every month to read the book.

Got a pair of good mysteries going on here: who really killed Vito, plus the unknown identity of this new Vigilante (I actually hope it's not Adrian, it seems kind of cheap to bring him back to life).
Not sure about the new heaquarters. Good idea, but it seems a bit too techy for this team. More suiting the Justice League, I think.
Plas is still feeling the effects of what happened to him, at least on a psychological level. Hope it doesn't cause him to freeze up at a crucial moment.

I hope it turns out to be a good thing, though I do concur that it is a bit of a risk taker. Lately I felt as though the team were a bit penned in (though I still love Vegas as their home), so I tried to go a cool and yet lazy route to be able to get them to travel places easier. Yep, the one thing that I believe in is that each character has their own mental suffering to work through when something big happens to them, and it's never resolved in a week. And boy I hope he doesn't freeze up either! Especially now that you put that idea in my head! ;D
