I really enjoyed this issue. I'm a big fan of how you write Plas, but I'm still not 100%ly sold on his "relationship" with Dinah. Although I have to say that you're starting to get me being more comfortable with the thought The cliffhanger was... oh wow. Bloody.

Bloody Hell. This issue... was really sad. I mean, poor Wooz. I had a lump in my throat as soon as I read his dialogue, and then with the doctor... gosh. This is brilliant work, Brian. Simply brilliant. Umm, I'm at a bit of a loss for words (don't touch that), but this issue was just perfect. I'll give anything a shot, and the Dinah/Eel relationship seems fresh and different (thank God for something new!!) and I could read their interaction all day long.
Well done Brian, just... well done.

Oh Dinah. You can do so much better.
Good issue. I like this kind of downtime, where things happen that aren't necessarily superheroics or action. Establishing solid pathos for Eel is good, and seeing where Dinah is in her life right now is heart-wrenching and mesmerising. And that ending...what's going on here? Does Zauriel have a connection to Plas? Is Huntress going to die? Will the New Outsiders have a tie-in with Nemesis? All are important questions.
Keep doing what you're doing, man. It's good stuff.

The first time I wrote Plas for the All Star issue, I was scared. When it was over I swore I'd never write him again. But something kept calling me. lol I'm glad you enjoy him. As for Plas and Dinah, I thank you for keeping an open mind. Who knows where this relationship will go, but I have tried to portray it as a very open and honest relationship between two consenting adults who are needing some love and friendship at the moment. Thanks for reading, my friend!

Oh Dinah. You can do so much better. I'm guessing you're not a fan of this coupling? Oh dear... I'm glad you like what's going on with both of these characters though. Dinah's story will continue through out this book and hopefully in a special All Star Comics issue that I'm working on. I do have a HUGE apology to make however. I should not have put Zauriel in this issue. I meant Azrael. I'm totally embarrassed about this but it will be corrected. I blame Charlie and his amazing Nemesis series. Please feel free to join me in blaming him. He likes it. Very kind words. Thanks you Sir.

Yeah, when you put it like that, plus seeing what we've seen this issue, it's easier to roll with. I still wish you hadn't sprung it on us cold like you did last issue. Again, kinda skeevy. The stuff with Woozy makes me wanna cry!

I was attempting "shocker"+ "humor" = "original ending". But I ended up with skeevy. (which the word makes me giggle like a ten year old and I'm not sure why.) Thanks for always being there, Susan... and for being honest. It is always appreciated.

Great stuff as usual. Just got caught up and all I have to say is wow. Last issue we get a good Batwoman centric story to all of a sudden be thrown into that last scene. It had me laughing out loud. And this current issue was great with the quips of humor, but some good serious stuff in there too. You managed to pull of a great balance.
Aqua Velva and Old Spice.... Now that was just too damn funny.

You know, Plastic Man never really interested me before. Can't say that anymore. This was one of those issues that Brian does so well, getting inside a character's head and telling a story about a multi-faceted "real" person. Before you know it, it's over, and you want more! I can sorta see why he and Dinah just might work (though you just know there is heartbreak on the horizon ). In what has become a tradition in this title, we get a stunning WTH ending: poor Huntress! She is messed up! And at first I thought this book was tying into Nemesis until afterward I read the lettercol--- somebody really should correct Zauriel to Azrael. Can't wait to see the connection between the Church of Blood and the Order of St. Dumas (and what connection that might have to the Danger Trail, as a pre-Plas Eel O'Brien seems to be on the same track in that title). As for the cover--- simply one of the best Plas images I have ever seen. Roy, you are doing some incredible work and I hope you stay on New Outsiders with Brian forever (little known fact: years ago, Brian signed a pact with Neron to stay on New Outsiders forever, with all the ironic consequences that entails... BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA!) . Five stars, gentlemen!

Really glad you enjoyed the Old Spice line. ;D

To quote Ellen *Blush* Well, who knows. I did say that before this next year is out, there will be a wedding within this title. It shall be changed. And yeah, Huntress is a bit bloodied. It's been a real treat working with Don on this. We're working very hard to make this a unique story. Roy is, has been, and always will be the wind beneath my wings. Well, when it comes to New Outsiders. Thank you David. If Mark and Roy don't mind me speaking for them, we thank everyone for their time to read this series. It's a real labor of love for all of us.

To paraphrase the great Romeo Tanghal, I just draw what they give me. and to comment on the issue. Wow. Sorry I haven't been around much, work and all. Sorry, I'm a little windied from blowing underneath Brian's arms.

I am not a fan of Plas... I guess that's why the issue was hard to read. I don't like the relationship between Dinah and Plas either, but it won't keep me from reading the book.
Not much more can add..
*** for the story
**** for the cover.
