This is what I'm talking about. The scope of this story was epic-- everything tied together, everything barring the Lord of Time adventures of course-- and made perfect sense in every sense of the world. There wasn't any need for seemingly ridiculous made-up meta concepts, or the death of a thousand different Z-listers, no, for once, everyone survived, and it made perfect sense! The Justice League worked together like the team we know them to be, and everyone had a moment to shine. My favourite moment, all in all, had to be the Prometheus battle, with The Question folding up his trenchcoat, with the Hawks barrelling down on him-- and the villain not caring. And then, of course, Batman's work on taking him down. That whole exchange was brilliant, and I hope you don't mind me pointing it out:
The return of the Wonder Twins was brilliant, their powers taken to a level I never expected to see, and them helping Elongated Man escape along with Gypsy was great. Sue defiant in the face of certain death-- and shades of Identity Crisis-- was what we needed, and Ralph's take down of the punk ass Xotar was just what I needed to see. Chemo was a formidable opponent, something I found interesting and fun, and Galactic Golem... I've never really put much thought to the character, my own exposure to him really being Kurt Busiek's final arc on Superman, and you did the concept justice. Brilliant execution of his defeat, and Manitou Dawn's defeat of him-- for a moment, at least, was a moment that deserved to be seen.
This entire run is going to be hard to follow, the bar has been set so high, but it's going to be a challenge Kevin and I take and run with, I know that much.
This League has been full of "new" and unexpected faces, but they've knitted into the mythos wonderfully, and Wonder Woman has been a brilliant chairperson. Her taking Angle Man seriously-- and the feeling of badassery that came with it-- was a moment I've been looking forward to muchly, and it was an inspired touch.
A five-star issue, Don, and an exemplary run on the title. Thanks for it!

Oh, bloody hell, I would be remiss not to mention the brilliance that is Jamie Rimmer's cover. Every single Leaguer we've seen in Don's run? Check. Great work, mate!

whew! What a trip. There was a point in this issue where I could just FEEL the tables turning, and I can't say I know exactly where it was. But somewhere everything just shifted over into a perfect, exciting, hopeful race toward the end, and I knew everything was going to be all right. All of the conclusions were great, with everyone scattered across the map and still connecting. I have to love Angle Man's motive, just for some reason I do. I love Kit and his powers as always. I don't think I can point out every single thing I loved, there were just to many and by the time i get to the end of the issue I can't remember all the details of the beginning XD bad Sam, bad reader. The ending was just wonderful though. I always love having a quiet sort of moment at the end of something big, and my god these guys have earned it. Looking forward to see what direction the League goes in now, and of course we've got some plans working to try and see some of those reserve members in safe new titles So much fun and so many stories ready and waiting.

A nice conclusion to a great run. I liked the scene where Kit became Atlas to push the planet out of position the best. Batman vs. Prometheus... a classic but so new. A nice scene. I'll be missing you on this title, but at least I can look forward to your new team book starring many sexy ladies

Still catching up and I'm sorry it took me so long on this issue! WHOA!!! Talk about wrapping everything up with a nice red bow on top.
As much as I enjoyed Don's run on this title, it really wasn't until this last issue that I understood how huge, how epic, this run really was!
Amazing cover, amazing story. You, Sir, shall be missed on this title.
BTW: Favorite moment: Batman's speech to Prometheus. Captured that perfectly!
5 stars, gentlemen.
