Brian I dunno how you keep up every month. You are a mad genius with every finger in it's own unique pie. This is an awesome book and it never lets the reader down. Great work!

Pies indeed Chrissy m'lad. This is one hell of a book month after month, and I'm amazed you can keep the quality so high every issue! You can do no wrong Brian. You did something amazingly cool in this issue. That being? The Joker scares me. I was hoping that the NO would get there but no, you just let that woman die and you made us care. Wow. And Dinah's changed? Can't wait to see where this goes. One thing though, the Starfish Casino/Hotel... Is it officially opened yet? And was it named in #9 of NO? I'm sure that the Annual had its grand opening but I can't remember if it's... Y'know, I'm ranting, I'm sure you'll answer my question if you can decipher the meaning!
Five stars Brian, you did not disappoint!

I really do... awesome writing. I'll miss Zee, but somehow I hope that we'll see her again someday Maybe after the next Crisis: Zatanna-Reborn...

Thank you guys, very much. Very kind words, that I appreciate very much. to answer your question Charlie, yes, the Annual took place after the year jump, and it was the grand opening. This story takes place immediately after the crisis, so it is not opened yet. And yes, issue 9 revealed the name of the Hotel and Lounge. Are you saying you didn't read it? Riz, your cover is awesome. And come back next issue for one heckuva bomb drop... I hope. Hope you all come back for the next issue. It co-stars those teen wonders and brings two characters full circle when it comes to a certain Clown Prince of Crime. Thanks again for reading it!

As if this group hasn't been pounded enough, you take it to another level and really mess them up. The reverberations from this issue will last for some time to come, I suspect.
I agree the Joker unhinged is a chilling thought. But I almost feel bad for him somehow because now he's in a world of trouble. The No won't take this lightly I'm sure. Throw the Titans in the mix and I smell big time action coming.
Ah Zee, we hardly knew ye.
Fantastic writing and the next issue can't come fast enough.

Amazing work. I expected someone would die in the series, and it makes more sense for it to be Zee. She has actual powers, which kind of makes their job easier. More conflict should make more subjects. Good stuff to everyone who worked on it.

Thanks guys! I appreciate you reading and responding. Now that the crisis is over, I'm starting to wrap up several story-lines that I've left open. I really don't want to say too much, but I will give you my word that in the next six months, things are going to get very intense... well if I do it right they will. Thanks again!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this issue, but man was it worth the wait!
SPOILERS!
It's nice to see the consequences of the Crisis still lingering a little bit in the DC2, and this issue was all about consequences: Barbara's inner turmoil at the Joker left to his own devices, the ramifications of Dinah's brutal experience on Apokolips...
I get the impression that, given his scene at the DA's office, that Adrian is at the top of a downward spiral--- and let those who cross his path beware!
Another hero falls to the Joker! I know this is messed up, but his scenes played chillingly well! I will be very sorry to see Zatanna go, as we hardly got to know her (as she herself lamented in her final thoughts)--- I hope that the NO and the TTs take down the Clown Prince of Crime, hard! Adrian Chase-style!
Loved the cover,, Riz! I would say it was in your top ten, but every one of your pieces is a #1! You are amazing!
And---Hey!--- I'm the offical doctor to the New Outsiders! That's cool! Thanks, Brian!
Now that'll be $3000 for the office visit and $1500 for the x-rays...

Glad you liked it Chief! and I'm delighted with the Joker feedback. Mark has a lot to do with that. He talked me into doing a re-write on the first scene, and I thought it came out a little better. I'm going to be forever in that guys debt. Oh, and the check is in the mail... honest... Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this issue, but man was it worth the wait! SPOILERS! So many cool, exciting, and intense things going on in this issue.
Red Tornado! Batgirl is a bad ass! Black Canary is changed forever! The Joker living up to his evil penitential, causing one of the most disturbing deaths I have ever read and then the shocking death that followed with Zee! What the hell man? The Teen Titans in town!
This simply continues to be one of the best ongoing titles on the site period! I know you struggled a bit with what you were going to do with the the crisis and OYL timing wise, but it appears that you found a perfect way to make it not only work but build on it!
So with this ending does this mean I have to go catch up on my Teen Titans reading so I can get ready for the big crossover I have been hearing about forever?
Finally Borize you deliver another outstanding cover. You are a true master!

Has anyone seen my jaw? It fell off after Joker shot that pregnant girl, and I totally lost track of it after he killed Zee. She's not dead, I know it. I mean she's got real magic on her side and all, plus I just plain liked her. I'm sure she's only mostly dead...yeah, that's it. Fezzik, toss her over your shoulder, we're trotting down to Miracle Max's for one of those lil' chocolate pills... I'm gonna cry if she doesn't come back...

Riz: The Chief is right, your covers are out of this world and can't wait to see what you have planned for 12. Roman: Thanks so much for reading and commenting! Especially from some one who I find to be an incredible writer, himself. It's really scene's like the Joker's that are the most interesting to write on this book, since I get to take that extra step, that other books may not be able to do. Goldk: and speaking of artists that are out of this world! Glad you read it and ummm... responded so... I mean... I couldn't ask for... well you know. Susan: Always love to hear your feedback! Although I don't understand everyone's reaction to Zatanna? I mean Ollie is still with us, and isn't that the most important thing. ;D Thanks for responding and please don't cry, Zee's in a much better place now.
