I was worried about the order in which to read this crossover (with this week's Teen Titans #12), but I needn't have; though they essentialyl tell the same story, each issue is a revelation in and of itself (and actually fills in gaps for each other). Very well executed!
Terrific issue, Brian, framed cleverly by the OYL peek of Reddy and Babs at Zee's gravestone.
The characterization here was at an all-time high, particularly with Huntress (who has the best, funniest dialogue) and Dinah--- and I think I like the dark, pixie-cut Dinah is sporting now.
The Red Diamond Club was a brilliant idea--- strippers dressed as superheroines of the DC2! Why doesn't this place really exist?
(Umm... was that outloud?)
Once again, Borize has turned in a cover that Brian Bolland would drool over!
This was another 5 star issue, all around!

Thanks Dave! Really glad you enjoyed both parts of the cross-over. The super-hero stripper idea was all Mark. My partner in crime. Perhaps you two need to speak in private, pool your money together and start your own business. Riz did do a great job on this cover! Thank you, sir! Glad you enjoy the Huntress dialogue, she's fun to write (as are all of them, actually). I won't go into singing the praises of my Editor again, but I can tell you that Mark and I spent a lot of time putting this together for the enjoyment as a cross-over and a single issue all in one. Much of that was his doing, and as always, I am eternally greatful!

Wedding I'd thought I'd never see? Well it's about time Tom and Katie tied the knot. Power Whore! Made me shoot my latte out my nose! Lots of action! My hat is off too you I don't know how you keep it all straight with just the Outsiders now throw in the Titans! and I thought...! If it wasn't.......then......who.......? Arrgrggh I don't know how to do the inviso text!!!

Arrgrggh I don't know how to do the inviso text!!! Personally, I'm wary of using inviso text, just because you can't guarantee it will stay invisible when people use the "view the most recent posts" facility and the background color may change and your text suddenly becomes visible. Anyway, as regards your question, well, magicians never reveal how they do their tricks. Having said that, they did in Brian's original version, but in my editing frenzy I demanded he take it out, as I thought it was surplus to requirements and the readers could come up with explanations for how it was done themselves. Anyway, it looks like I could have been wrong, so, if you, or anyone else, really wants the long answer, PM me and I'll send you the original explanation .

Tense, emotional, action packed... Amazing as always. The one things that made me think "Yikes" was this: I was thinking that Ollie was taking it like he had forgotten his keys, not like his teen sidekick had gone back on the heroin! "D'oh!" might have seemed more in place with the tone of that exchange...

It's ok, I was I was only saying it as an interesting story point that "got" me. As long as somewhere along the way it gets, explained so it not one of those thing that's kinda left dangling forever because the writer simply didn't have an explanation, kinda like Casey's run on Superman.....did I say that out loud?

Again, brilliant work. Crazy superhero fighting, a good look into everyone's head and a twist ending with Zee not only not being dead, but she's the battery for psycho super-powerful sister! I was a little worried that kick in the kneecap would turn Babs into Oracle, but it's okay. Once more, amazing stuff. Keep it up. Also, bring in more superheroine strippers. -UDC

Ah yes, superheroine strippers. I knew setting this title in Vegas was gonna pay off at some point.
Haven't read the Titans issue yet, but this part of the crossover is just another fantastic NO issue. From the Nightwing-Batgirl-Starfire "triangle" (and if Dick isn't the luckiest character on the site, who is?) to the great one-liners by Huntress this issue had it all. And the teaser for next issue sounds interesting as well.
Thank the stars our gal Zee's still hanging around as well. And to think I mourned for her after last issue.

Thanks for the comments folks. I guess I did my job well enough it you mourned for poor Zatanna. Of course, she's far from being safe, at this point. Boy that stripper idea sure has taken off. What I have found fascinating is that nobody has mentioned, "The Kiss."

Somehow I doubt Babs and Kory are going to make a "true" Triangle with Dick. I doubt it very much.
(Which is not to say I wouldn't enjoy seeing it......*runs for his life*)

I'm just happy Zee's alive...although with the situation she appears to be in, that might not be an improvement. Pleeeeze get her rescued as soon as possible!

Hey Susan! Thanks for reading, as always, and glad you're happy with Zee's return. We'll try to get her out of her situation as soon as we can! Technically she's been there for a year now, so perhaps it's time to let her go. I'm just happy Zee's alive...although with the situation she appears to be in, that might not be an improvement. I am glad that so much of what I wanted to comment on has already been said because I would have gone on forever!
I have to give a big round of applause to both Brian and Mark for pulling off this very cool crossover. It was simply brilliant how it was done. Both titles could be read separately but together it was something special. I know it is used alot around here but I have to say it- DC only wishes they could pull off an event like this!
The story itself was entertaining all around but the character interactions made this a true pleasure to read. Huntress and Speedy. Ollie and Dinah. Kory Donna and Dinah. Dick and Barbara. I could go on and on but the point is every character has a chance to shine and that is always impressive with such a large cast! The way you seamlessly blend action, dialogue and keep all of the subplots churning is beyond impressive!
It was nice to see the Joker situation resolved between Nightwing and Batgirl. Beating by his kids...great stuff! And the cover was another brilliant piece of work there Borize!
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Thanks for the compliments, John! It was a challenge to do, but working with Mark always seems to make it much easier. Also I should shout out a huge thank you to Ellen who was so kind to let us wrap up this particular sub-plot with Nightwing. She was a big help as well!
