Seriously, this is an excellent series and you guys have done a great job "rebooting" it. Plas is a welcome addition to the team. I'm happy Grace is there, even if she's a "part-timer". And Kate...has a real mother? Where did THAT one come from? Well, whatever it is, I know i'll enjoy it.
Also, was there supposed to be a seventh member or am I mistaken?

Dude! Thanks!  Actually, Kate's parentage has already been revealed in the DC2. In the great, and very under appreciated Suicide Squad. Check it out! It's worth the read! Well, one more member just appeared this issue, although mysteriously. What I can promise you is that by the time the New Year starts, these people will still be around: Plastic Man, Manhunter, Huntress, Black Canary, and the on again, off again, Grace, and the yet to be revealed other member. The guys in the robe have a strong connection to the final member of the New New Outsiders and ties in very strongly to a story that happened somewhere in the first year of the DC2. How's that for a tease. |

Damn it if I didn't fall behind with one of my favorite titles (DC2 or other wise). But now that I am back I was glad to see that this title is as fun as ever. I admit that I wasn't completely sold on the new lineup but this issue had me come around a bit with Plastic Man. I have stretching powers you know. And Huntresses response was spot on. Too freakin' hilarious! And I am also curious for mysterious new member. Though I think I already know who it is. One of the disadvantages of being a few months behind.  The Sheet sisters were the best. I couldn't figure out the names until Roulette called them out. Velvet and Satin. Thats was brillant. Of course my favorite part was Kate Spencer. I loved the final scene with her mother and Dinah's line about her now being and Outsider was perfect. The cover was just fantastic. Another Flinchum masterpiece. Too many good things not to rate this 5 stars! |

And I'm more than happy that your back, my friend! Well come on! If you had stretching powers, wouldn't you be bragging! LOL! and I bet you you're right, too! I really can't take much credit for those three. The creation of them was nearly all Mark, and the fact that they showed up again was because David asked for them. And who am I to turn down a request... unless it's that Mercer guy. Glad you liked it, and I hope I can do you proud with Kate. Roy is astounding, isn't he. And busy, busy, busy. Not only doing so much awesome art work, but also with his amazing writing skills in Action Comics! Thanks for the kind words!  |
