Alright so I guess I'll be first...
Holy...
JESUS...
The forehead smack moment has now officially arrived.
As much as I'd LOVE to actually say something about this issue, I don't DARE... anything I say will completely spoil it for anyone else reading this.
Seriously, folks. If you haven't been reading this - start from the beginning and read it all. I was a bit dubious about a Danger Trail/New Outsiders crossover and how such a thing would work but this has to be one of the most brilliant things I've read here (and I've read everything).
Don. Brian. Take a bow, gentlemen. You've outdone yourselves.
Dear God, don't take too long on getting me Danger Trail #20... I need to know how this ends!

Just finished reading this, as well, and I have to second James' sentiment... I was blown. AWAY. Huge ending.
I have been awful at feedbacking this crossover, but I've read every installment and have been in awe by the ambitious storytelling on display in these two titles... It is an enormous injustice that we can't get masterful work like this to a wider audience for the recognition it deserves!
I must confess to some confusion, but I think that is due more to my own inadequacies than to any shortcomings by these two brilliant writers--- so I hereby request this arc be collected into an annotated Treasury Edition as soon as possible ;D.
Jamie has outdone himself, not just with the fantastic cover, but a fiercely awesome interior pic that perfectly complimented the apocalyptic text, combining to evoke an image of smoke and blood and destiny not soon or easilt forgotten.
I don't want to spoil anything, either, but I have to say, for my money, the ending was on a par with the Judas Contract. That little $h!+!

Wait til you see what Don has planned for the end of this event. And yeah, there are a few twists that make it hard to really say much... in the words of Peter David "Thank you for not spoiling it for others." Don needs to take a HUGE bow for this. It really was his brainchild. I tagged along for the ride on this. But I will say that the man is incredibly kind and giving when working with him I want to say I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but in the coming months you are going to see even more interaction between the Outsiders, Green Arrow, and Seven Soldiers. Thanks for reading and responding. It is much appreciated.

I'm the worst at it right now. Oh lordy let's just get through it first. Wasn't he amazing! I have to thank him from the bottom of my heart for not just the cover but the gritty, mesmerizing interior piece. Judas Contract?! WHOA! Thank you! And don't forget to check out our anniversary #50 issue at the end of this month. DC2 is about to feel a HUGE loss.

Wow. OK. See, I don't know how I can say anything more than what the others have said, but I'll give it a shot. This issue was immense! Neck deep in it all, and it still came at the reader with a dozen emotional punches that staggered my brain! So much was happening, and I was never once lost, and the dialogue seemed to zip around like the best of Whedon, Ellis, Johns... even in the darkest moments you made me smile, Brian, even as all was lost, I was grinning from ear-to-ear. I'm not going to cut and paste my favourite bits, but I had to share this with anyone who hasn't made the leap into this crossover:
YES! Sorry, I love Plastic Man, and Don and your use of him over the past months has been exquisite. He's becoming a hero more and more, not just a conman and trickster, and I can't help but punch the air whenever he walks "on screen". The reveal of you-know-who, at 90, was so amazingly well done. Just... wow. It was like a slow motion montage scene, and I could picture it so perfectly... amazing.
It's brilliant to see everything come together now. Just brilliant. Batwoman especially. Crikey. Just... crikey.
Congratulations, Brian. Twelventy stars.
And Jamie! Sorry I didn't say this straight off, but that cover is simply sublime, I'm loving the fact that we get to see so many of the Outsiders and Trailers in action!

I've learned a lot from Don and my respect for him has multiplied by thousands. And I'm glad I was able to put a smile on that face, Charlie. Batwoman's story is obviously far from over, and I'm glad it gave you a crikey moment. And Jamie is awesome amazing, isn't he? THanks for reading and resonding my friend!

Phew, this was great I'm sorry it took me so long to get around to it. Brian, your gore is awesome XD there were a few descriptions in there that just made me cringe. As for the story itself, just wonderful. I can't wait to see it all come to a head. I'd love to point to a particular scene that I loved, but after reading the whole thing (I had to pause in the middle and go back an hour later) it's all blurred together into one big ball of great stuff. So i'm sorry not to be more specific, but you did a great job.
