"Hello father!" Was I the only one who got this STAR WARS feeling? This was another great issue. I love what you're doing with all the members, but Plastic Man is my absolute favourite. I'm wondering if Grace is really under the influence of Brother Blood or if she's only playing her role... Can't wait to find out. 5*

Thanks Riz, and glad you liked it. Plastic Man is a fun character to write, that's for sure. As for that little Star Wars moment, surprise! ;D But the big question is: What did you think of Roy Flinchum's great (and first ever) Adult Cover? Only available for those with the password.

I think it was a great cover. I didn't realize immediately that on the intro page was a censored cover until you told me. ;D Great job, Roy!

Man I have been enjoying this series. The cover art is also pretty awesome and Barbra is by far becomeing one of my favorite characters.. I really wish they would just let her walk again in cannon.
Oh and the cover Rocks it!

Anarky: Hello, father.
WHAT A TWEEST!
Good issue. It's always nice to see Anarky get what's coming to him. Huntress is put in an awkward position as substitute leader and it's interesting seeing her deal with it. Plus, more things are happening in Kate's life! Where will that lead? We'll find out...
Once again, great installment. I can't wait for the exciting conclusion.

Glad you enjoyed it and I'm really glad to hear that you're a fan of Barbara's, cause her story has just begun, and not only will it effect her, but Dinah as well...

Glad you enjoyed Huntress' unwanted role as leader, and Kate's problems are just beginning to appear. I hope the conclusion is as entertaining for you. Thanks for reading, and for responding. I always look forward to it.

Of course, I like Anarky just fine. (Aside from his painting all religions with one brush, but I'll roll with that particular punch.) I'll say this for his dad, he certainly knows how to throw a party! Yeah Eel, you're the relatively sane and stable one around here, which is a scary thought. But hang around long enough, and Brian will do something Horrible to you. I think the whole courtroom scene is hiding the fact that the Judge isn't incorruptible because the Defense has something they can blackmail her on.

Well, I think there's a fine line here, and it's not religion, per se, that Anarky has issue's with, more like organized religion of all kinds. I didn't even mention the party favors. Now that's not fair! True, though. LOL! ;D Think so? Hmmm... Thanks for reading, Jay, and for taking the time to comment. As always, it is much appreciated.

A very tense, very twisting entry in Outsiders, with solid characterization for our un-brainwashed heroes, and some solid action to go along with it. I'm looking forward to the next part, and seeing where this story ends up. So far, Blood and his Church are the formidable threats they should be, and that's always fun to see. How much of our captured Outsiders are really brainwashed? How well will the newly-caught crew survive? Looking forward to finding out the answers to that for sure.
And Anarky as a villain. Ahh...that feels so nice. I'll get to see him beat on, hopefully repeatedly. Granted, I'm expecting another twist that will deny me such satisfaction...but I can always hope.
Anyway, good story, and keep up the good work.
Take care Don

I'm glad you found it "twisting", that was what I was going for. Blood has always been one of my very favorite DC villains and I'm humbled that people are enjoying this interpetation. I have to thank David Charlton for his awesome introduction of the character waaay back in Teen Titans #1 and #2. As a co-worker of mine always says, "They can't take away your dreams." As always, I'm honored that you took the time to both read and respond. As I am with everyone who reads my stuff. It always means a lot.

Love the new origin for Anarky (which is really the only one for me, as I really don't now the old one ); it works terrifically well in this context. I love the deepening mystery with Babs (but I think I know what's going on--- which could possibly be because Brian told me abaout ages ago, but I forget stuff, lots of stuff).

It seems like just yesterday but here I am with a years worth of New Outsiders to read. So as I sit back with a stack of back issues here are a few random thoughts:
I went back and read the first part of this tale to refresh my memory. One of the things that bothered me at first was the fact that the story had Brother Blood and Anarky, (add in Plastic Man who I am not a fan of normally) and the issue spotlighted mostly characters I don’t care for. With that said I was happy to see Huntress knock Anarky out. Manhunter and Huntress carried this issue for me but I am warming up a bit to the others.
Wow! I think Grace is going to be mighty pissed off before all is said and done!
Nice little Law and Order bit with the interlude. I almost heard that Doink Doink sound between scenes. Vito Bertinelli has something up his sleeve here though.
Man oh man is Huntress a little pissy! Poor Doc Charlton!
Nice comic book type cliffhanger here. Plus the little twist with Anarky and Brother Blood was interesting.
Roy put out another great cover. No surprise here why Blood is smiling.
This isn’t my favorite storyline in the series but I was quickly reminded why this is still one of the best titles on the site! Well written and always a great read.
4 stars.
