[glow=red,2,300]PLANET DC2[/glow]
Hello everyone, to Planet DC2!
Yeah, Charlie killed me three weeks ago, but it was obvious I would be back! I’m just too loved in here. I’ve got to say, it is really an honor to be here again, writing this weekly column. I've got to say, this is my favorite site in the entire world wide web. Maybe I only have tried half of the titles in here, and I just read half of those half as much as I'd like to, but I really have a good time in this place. I consider everyone here as my friends, and it'd be an honor if you considered me one. Now, before I get too sentimental, to the information cave!
We have a very interesting month, from what I can see. We’ve got three titles with two issues this month. Action Comics, Suicide Squad and All-Star Comics, biweekly! AC starts the arc entitled “Doomsdays”, All-Star continues the Hawkman saga “Sins of the Father”, written by our great David Charlton, and the Squad finishes “Die Hard the Hunter” with the Manhunter!
Also this month, the (I hope) triumphant return of Powers, Inc.! The final part of Batman: City of Crime! The start of our next big event appears in Justice League #6! And perhaps the most important one in the history of the whole universe… THE FLASH 19!!!!
And now, a little thing that was done a while back, but I guess it was forgotten in the vaults of the DC2. A “What character are you going to put the spotlight on in your books? Upcoming, current, or your dream character to work on” list, done by Charles himself!
House Of Mystery: The Guardian. Appearing biweekly in Action Comics, the English boy wants to make him a big DC2 character!
Jay: Future Teen Titans and Suicide Squad writer, he has two titles in the Elseworld section (Titans: The Resistance and Corporate Rivalry). He loves Terra, but plans on using Cyborg, Starfire and Dagon first in his TT run. Then, with the Squad, you should look out for the Enchantress, Killer Frost, and a DC2 twist on a background character!
Brian Burchette: (You are in our prayers, man!) We should be looking for Kate Spencer and two new characters joining… One of them is Plastic Man!
TimDrake: Arrowette, Lagoon Boy and Kid Devil (The three of them in a new title next year!), Deadman and the Phantom Stranger!
Susan Hillwig: Bat Lash in Weird Western Quarterly #7!
John Elbe:
This says it all.
Sebastian Gutierrez (That’s me!): C and D list characters. Ragman, Detective Chimp, Nightmaster, Doctor and Traci Thirteen, Doctor Ira Quimby and more are in my wishlist! (No plans done, except for the Thirteens!)
Well, that’s all for this week. Join us next time, when there’s a big chance I’ll just talk and talk about the Flash. Or not.
