I was browsing the Nightwing forum at fanfiction.net and stumbled across a notice from Ellen. She mentioned that DC2 needed a new NW writer, so I checked the site out and PM'd her at the site. We worked over a storyline, and discussed the diff characters that we could use, and so I came over and checked it out.... so here I am! This seems like an awesome site, and it is the one I visit the most now:)

I followed over to this site after i had read some of dragonbats stuff(PSIONVERSE) over at Fanfiction.net. Dragonbat has a quiet fan, but a fan nonetheless. Im also a fan of nightwing and robin number 3. ive read quite a few issues here excellent work being done, keep it up!

hi Bloodhawk! Roman is right, there isn't anyone here that doesn't love Ellen's work! We're glad you followed her over here and hope that you continue to check out our writers and artists. I'm probably a bit biased, but I think we've got some of the best in the fanfiction business.

If you are a fan of Tim's, then you will want to keep an eye on both our Batman books as well as Nightwing. Our Tim Drake has just shown up and is learning the ropes, and all of our writers are doing a super job with the growth of this character.

hmmm ,could've sworn I'd posted in this thread before... oh well, no time like the present, right?

I'd been searching for almost a year (yes, you read that right) for a fanfic site strictly for comic books.... almost all of the other fanfic sites are overrun with anime and manga fanfics, with very few comic book-based fics in comparison.... (not that there's anything wrong with anime or manga, I like those too, but there is an overpopulation of those fics).... so yeah, several times, I googled comic book fanfiction only to have ff.net pop up in the search or some other site that wasn't worth a crap.......

Then, back in October, I started my search again.... this time, narrowing it down to DC fanfiction (why I didn't think of that before, I don't know) and up came DC2 in the search..... 5 minutes on this site told me everything I needed to know.... this is what i'd been searching for for a long time...... I've never been happier to click a link in all my life.....

And that's my story....what, you wanted more?..... well, could tell you about how I had to fend off an entire hoard of rabid ninja-midgets to get to the mouse.... but that's another story for another time....
