I know it's been a while since the topic was updated but I'm curious- is there any similar Dc2-esque site for Marvel out there? I've never seen one, strikes me as odd.

A pity it fell through. As I've mentioned before, I actually found DC2 while searching for a similar thing for Marvel. Not that I don't love DC and all, but the guys across the road will always be my favourites. Wait... I shouldn't have said that! *Flees* (And I know what you mean, I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head for Fantastic Four it's not funny ) |

I found DC2 in a similar way, but i found that there are a lot more marvel sites than dc ones. Especially X-Men (which I've been looking for a place to write fan fic for). On my old computer I had a bookmark for a site that had a huge list of Marvel and some DC sites on it. I'll have to talk to my neighbor (who got me into fan fic) to see if he has the link on his computer and post it here.

I know there's a lot of interest here for things like Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galatica, Buffy, Angel... and others. I made this site in hopes of putting it along side the other sites that do justice to DC and Marvel... Site is wide open and titles are open... I've been wanting to write an Indiana Jones serial since I was, like, ten! Is that the kind of thing that would fit over there? It wouldn't necessarily be a "comic" or require a cover (you might get more success that way, as artists seem to be in scant supply around here lately). Most of the stuff you're looking for is outside the comics arena, at least originally, anyway, so is art a must... ?

I am gunning for the "DC2" approach.. but I don't want to pull from DC2's pool.. it's shallow as it is.. I am actively recruiting new people right now.. so hopefully we can get something together that resembles what DC2 is... that's my goal anyway.
But yeah if you wanna write Indiana Jones.. I see no problem with that... nice to have a slugger in the line-up like yourself. lol

I will definitely help you out zirron by drawing one of your titles once the site is up and running. There are a lot of AMAZING Indie comics out there. I could see myself drawing Witchblade or Red Sonya easy... hubba hubba! |

I will ask the obvious question....why Marvel3? That would be like having a DC3 when there's already a DC2. OK...not a good example so again...why? Making another site when there is already a Marvel2 seems...wrong. Or was that so obvious I shouldn't even bother ask? |

Kudos on the design bro, I am McLovin' it...
Maybe we should trash Marvel2, and keep Marvel3 cause it is prettier? heh heh.
It is funny tho. In a time we are strapped for Artists, that pops up to thin us out more, heh heh.

I will be honest, after looking at the site a little closer...
There is one thing I don't like about the site. He is using artwork from other people's deviant accounts, and one from Marvel (most likely all without consent). All the art on a fan site should be FAN ART made specifically for the Fan Site.
Just my opinion...
