I saw that a similar thread was done for the GLs, so I thought, with Flash: Rebirth out....
Each one has their strengths, each one has their faults. Jay was the original, but Barry's the most famous. Wally carried the legacy, but did he ever live up to his potential? And Bart's tenure was short, but it was powerful (especially his death, YOWZA!) Then of course there's the Quick family and the Mercury clan, so there's plenty of choices!

My favorite Flash is Wally. But I'd have to say my favorite Speedster in general is Bart. Hated him as Flash though. They ripped away everything fun about him when he was Flash.

Actually, I suppose my real favorite would be Jesse Quick, but that's because she's hot and I'm a lecherous old man. But Jay's pretty cool too. The guy who started it all Take care Don

Curse you, why must you make me choose so!??!
Jay's like the grandfather, the one who started it all, the original, the best of all the 'first generation' heroes in my view, even moreso than Alan....
But Barry launched the silver age and had such great adventures and such a wonderful cast and is generally a great character....
Then there's Wally, the Flash I've always known, the one who grew into the role, the only legacy hero to fill his predecessor's shoes.
Bart made a bad Flash (Though Guggenheim's efforts were enjoyable) but as Impulse was one of the most refreshing and brilliant characters to come to DC in decades.
Johnny Quick always gets overlooked and his unique personality adds a whole lot to the franchise.
Jesse is the only 'female' speedster of the bunch and her split between her professional life and her heroic responsibilities are a brilliant dynamic.
And, as I'm sure lots of people know, I have a special love of max mercury, the 'zen master of speed'- from his relationship with Bart to his unique past....
Agh, it's so very hard to choose. I'm going to have to go with Wally, VERY closely followed by Max, VERY closely followed by Barry. I guess in the end, Wally's just the Flash I know best!
