I realize I've been a total downer lately, what with all that is going on in my community and such, but another piece of really sad news hit my lap top this evening.
Perhaps I'm the last to know, but for those who haven't, David Eddings passed away sometime this weekend.
One of my favorite authors of all time. I think I'll reread the Belgariad this summer.

. I really loved the Belgariad (and even enjoyed the Mallorean--- the rest, eh, not so much). He was a giant, and he helped to shape a genre (in fact, I think some of my earliest writing was because of him). May he rest in peace.
