For some reason this news has really affected me.not sad or happy or anything, just shocked I guess. I was a big fan of his and grew up on his music. I know he has done a lot of terrible things allegedly, and we all have our own opinions on that one, that's a whole other ball game... But Damn that's a shocker!!!
His music will live on. And I don't really know what else to say.

My Facebook post:
i was a fan growing up of Michael Jackson.. but he was a mixed up human being that brought music and controversy to the world. Whatever his legacy is... Michael Jackson will be remembered for a long time to come. Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009)
Jackson's music will live on... but the craziness he was will die.

A moment of silence for a great musician. RIP, Michael.

A sad human being? Maybe. A legend, an inspiration, a magnificent talent? Beyond doubt.
He was a man. Take him for all in all, we shall not see his like again.

All I know for sure is that a large piece of landscape that was my teenage years has died today.
He was a genius in his creative persona. Didn't know him as a person so I won't judge.
I do hope that he is at peace. The weight of being who he was had to have been incredible.

Very sad indeed.
On the plus side they probably won't have to embalm him.
What, too soon?

well, since the first joke has already been cracked, I'll follow with another.....
Since Mike's body is 90% plastic, following his funeral, he will be melted down into lego's, so little boys can play with HIM for a change....
lol.....heard that one today and couldn't stop laughing.....
