Brilliant news-- Dwayne McDuffie is back working on the League he made great-- an animated Justice League! I'm a big fan of his work, so this news is fantastic, even if it doesn't use the established DCAU voice cast.

(because I can't get enough of Kevin Conroy...)

Here's the article over at Ain't It Cool News, and I've posted up the images below.

Looks to be an interesting amalgamation of near-current DC continuity and the ever-reliable alternate interpretation of the DCAU... so I'm psyched.

All-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods
(Ghosts of Mississippi) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law &
Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman,
Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison
(X-Men) as the President.

This is what was planned for the second/third season of Justice League, wasn't it? I'm psyched. This is what McDuffie is great at. Give him the Big 7, give him the big stars, and he's fantastic. Give him a mandated team... eh, weak, we've seen that.

im confused/a little concerned, it seems there are only a few members of the jsutice league from our earth, i only remember seeing bats. superman, wonderwoman, gl, mm and flash. were all of the others from the evil league-is that vixen who turns into aa lion? i saw someone who looked like halo and gypsy on screen at one point too, i must be mistaken>
it looks awesome though!
