Jay, you and DC editorial in the same room is a recipe for disaster.
Ellen, good luck my friend! You are perfectly suited to this, and exactly what they need. If it meant anything, I'd actually write you a letter of recommendation as your former fan fic EiC, if I thought it would help.

I may get back to you on that. See, it's VERY helpful for me to know that unlike, say, Anne Rice or Archie Comics, DC doesn't mind the existence of fanfic. Because that means that when they're asking about previous editorial experience, I can (did) include all editorial experience.
