I woke up to this this morning. He was not only a truely great actor, but every bit of the money he made on all of his products went to charitable causes. He was a man on integrity, and real talent. He will be missed. But when I think of Paul Newman, my first thought is always his line from Butch and Sundance. "What are you talking about? The fall will probably kill ya!" R.I.P.  |

I was a big fan of Mr. Newman's. I am sorry to see him go... unfortunately he died of cancer, but his life was long.. and full of all kinds of achievements.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

A little late, but some trivia for you: Hal Jordan's looks are modeled after Paul Newman.
And on a depressing note, I heard about Mr. Newman's passing on the radio in my car...and the DJ actually said, "You guys probably know him from his salad dressing, but he was an actor, too." Even if that was a joke, it made me want to bang my head on the steering wheel.
