Rob Liefeld never gets old.
Hmm... Let me try to qualify that statement a bit better...
Making fun of Rob Liefeld never gets old.
Yeah, now that statement makes a lot more sense.

I love to see a breakdown of Rob's work like this. It's all those subconscious little notices and thoughts that flashed through your head way back when you first saw the stuff and he was a "hot" artist and doing commercials. And then the funny thing is that you see his work now and it looks exactly the same. Rob made his money long ago and he was like "screw it. Why try to get any better?"
I would say you never get tired of making fun of him but there was a phase I went through a few years back where I thought. "Y'know, folks have been awfully harsh on ol' Rob. I feel like I want to stick up for him now. He's an underdog. He's just waiting slyly in the wings working on his masterpiece and ready to really make a strong comeback and have his moment of comeuppance." Then he comes out with a round of crazed, immature, and completely unnecessary attacks on Alan Moore, who was the only bright spot in the entire publishing history of Rob's Awesome /Maximum/Extreme universe of comics, and you see he's still that exact same guy. So yeah, never feel bad about it because he really is a huge jerk and totally deserves it.
