Hi, DC2!
I used to be a regular reader/contributor to the site but real life interfered and I've been away for a while. So...
Which titles are now at a good jumping on point to read and get back into the swing of things? It will take me some time to catch up on the back issues and current DC2 continuity, so I'd like to know what books accomodate new readers now?
Thanks.

I always think that the starts of arcs or runs are great places to hop back onboard. New Outsiders just had one of it's awesome "quiet issues" that kind of builds on what's come before, whilst pushing forward for the future, and I'm tres excited about what Brian Burchette is doing with that book on a monthly basis. Justice League just had a one shot issue and a new story arc starts next month written by Don Don the Don Walsh, and I think he's building to something really awesome with his Injustice Unlimited story arc. I'm going to shill myself and invite you to read my Detective Comics run, three issues in, and right now it's all out war between the Suicide Squad and Batman! I'm really enjoying writing it, so I'd hope you enjoy reading it. The Flash had one of the best prologue stories you will ever read ever last month (Kevin Feeney is doing great things with that book), and a Craig Cermak cover to boot, so that's something I'd implore you to read. Green Lantern is a great place to be right now, Dan Palmer just finished an arc with Hector Hammond and a new Earth-GL, and I think we've got a stand alone issue coming up this month, so, you know, read it! What else... my Wonder Woman run is winding down in the next two months, and that's been a fun ride for me, and awesome to work with Don, Craig, and now Doc. Justice Society of America is continually highly rated by everyone, written by, of course, David Charlton, and Action Comics is Superman at his purest, written ongoing by Roy Flinchum, but this month's issue was written by Kevin Feeney, which was a Zero Hour tie-in (also something you could check out!). I think John Elbe has finally got round to re-starting Global Guardians and Checkmate, and you know he's good at that stuff... Basically, I think everything on the site right now is exciting. Pick a title, dive in, and you won't be disappointed, dude. Get to it

Aquaman will be starting a new run soon and it would be a good place to jump back in if you're interested.

Well, as the plugging goes on, far be it from me to abstain. Feel free to check out the Danger Trail, as it just wrapped up an epic three-parter to close out its first year, and starts out a whole new adventure (and underlying plot arcs). take care Don

Really, you can't go wrong whatever you choose to pick up. I will say that Action Comics is about to introduce a brand new (but very familiar) character to the DC2 rather soon, as will Teen Titans. Perhaps that may entice you a bit on those two titles. Charlie: kind words. Thank you.

Great to see you around again! The nice thing about the DC2 is that every issue is available, and you can jump in anywhere (I doubt any writer and/or artist would mind you feedbacking a backissue)! I would just pick a title I liked, and pick up from wherever I left off... For what it's worth, my two favorite titles (though I haven't commented in a while) are New Outsiders and Action Comics. I never miss an issue!
