I'm curious -- has anyone seen the new Wonder Woman cartoon? If you have, what did you think of it? (If I've missed an older thread about this, ignore this and point me in the right direction. )

The movie? I saw it screened at Comiccon. It was seriously kickass The voice work was really excellent, Nathan Fillion made a fantastic Steve Trevor. The story was big and fun, the animation was fantastic. A whole lot of people there instantly declared it the best DC animated movie yet and Bruce Timm called it "pro-decapitation". For what that's worth XD

the only thing about this movie I won't enjoy is keri russell..... horrible choice for WW and just a horrible actress period..... Alfred Molina is what's drawing me to this flick....

I admit I'm terrible about knowing who actors are, but I had no preconception of Keri Russell and I thought the voicing on Diana was great

She was amazing in Waitress, one of my favourite films of 2007, and she was never weak in the episodes of Felicity I caught!

ugh... hated felicity..... my sister used to hog the tv with that show when I was younger........... I'd rather watch re-runs of dawson's creek (a show from the same era for those of you who don't know) and that's saying a lot because creek SUCKED!

This should be a great flick and I can't wait for it. (Hope they do GL after this though. Maybe Sinestro Corps War ;D) And I think Keri Russell is a fine choice here. She has a strong voice and she was pretty damn hot in MI 3.

I just recently saw this online, and, while it wasn't perfect, I thought it was very well done. It's epic -- the film does a great job making the amazons kick-ass without completely over-doing it. One of my favorite scenes involves Hippolyta in the first five minutes of the movie just because it shows pretty clearly why she is the queen. No need to worry about Kerri Russell. She does a fine job as Wonder Woman. The film also has some comic touches that lighten up the 'end of the world' type drama. Some scenes moved faster than I would like and a few of the plot points didn't quite seem logical, but overall it was entertaining, and I agree that it's the best of the animated movies out so far.
If anyone wants the link to the film, let me know.

Watching the movie with a big group of comic book fans was really something else I did think it was a little short, honestly-- I felt that the romance developed a bit too quickly, but that was really my only problem. What was weird about it was it felt so similar to my WW series on DC3 XD Just by having a very young Diana in the world for the first time, learning the ropes with some naivite about man's world (not that she was naieve per se, but that she was learning)

Just watched the Wonder Woman movie. Gotta say one of the better ones to date. Anyone know what is DC's next project?
