Holla! So it's "Family Day" in Canada. It's a new "holiday" under Harper's government. I like to use "quotations" a lot when talking about this "subject". Everything is just so "frothy". Can you believe Wal-Mart is actually closed today? I like Wal-Mart as much as I like Dr. Phil, but in a small town when Wal-Mart closes, you know it's "major". (Thank you Victoria Beckham for that one!). I'm not complaining though, well, maybe a little. I suppose we're supposed to be playing the Game of Life and go snow shoeing and drink hot chocolate, but instead I'm sitting here on the DC2 listening to Ingrid Michaelson and drinking tea. TAKE THAT HARPER! Ha. So, my question for you Yankies and Brits and all you in betweenies is, are you jealous or what!?   |

Not much of a holiday for me, sadly. I'm at work. In a call centre. Dealing with angry angry people. And the OTHER call centre has the day off...

In the states we call it President's Day, you guys were clearly the jealous ones and knicked our holiday and renamed it "family day". Frankly, I don't know what's worse.

In Mexico, today is not a holiday. In fact, we don't have a president's day, because all of our president's has been traitorous backstabbers full of greed. You can look it up anywhere. Our first 100 yers were in constant war.

You must be dealing with patrons outside the country! It's always the 'others' that get the best. The other class, the other lane, the other woman...it's a wonder we still allow other-ing. |
