Sorry, John... I didn't read it on-line. I was going to put a link up but it was kinda late.
What'd you think, Zirron?

I got the gist that the internet had allowed writers to post things that are... eh.. full of grammatical errors and spelling woes. I see spelling errors on professional sites like USA Today or CNN... the quality of the printed word is affected in my opinion.
But I can see where Kinsley is coming from.

I never read the guy before so I barely saw where he was coming from. The whole thing seemed a bit obnoxious and slightly forced.
With that said I did find his take somewhat amusing and valid.

I agree with you, sir. I think it's a commentary about the status of publishing in today's society though. I think that's a healthy dialogue that we should have because anyway with a computer can put their thoughts on the web unabated. Whether it's good or not... I still gravitate towards printed word that I can hold in my hand because to me it seems real. A lot of time when I am reading someone's blog... I think to myself they could erase these thoughts at anytime... what is valid today isn't valid for tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for the forward Batkid, I think it's something to think about.

Kinsley's stuff is normally forced... and always obnoxious. ;-) Sometimes he comes up with an interesting satire, though,... and that essay definitely caught my eye. I thought it was kind of amusing, and wanted other people's thoughts on it.
