OKAY... my sentiments of ANGER are not towards this site neither DC2 but to the real DC COMICS..as some of you may know.. CATWOMAN got cancelled.. for the second time... and i dont know if youve noticed this.. but female lead series never have half as much succes as male leading comics... and im sick of this.. thats why i took the desition to only work on tittles that features FEMALE CHARACTERS, like i said... nothing to do with anyone here.. and i hope i dont piss anyone off and if i do im really sorry but im tired of seeing excelent characters go to waste like that.. when others that dont have nearly enough !potential nor background nor real personalities" succed like champions.. so if you got a FEMALE comic going on here message me and id be gladd to help...
XOXO CATSMEOW!

I heard about Catwoman being cancelled as well and was really bummed. One of my favorites that I looked forward to every month, although I have to agree with John that I think they kind of screwed her up with her OYL storyline. DC has many strong women characters, I think. Not including Wonder Woman, you've got all the Birds, Manhunter (probably in my top five of favorite books) Power Girl and Hawkgirl, Zatanna, and many more. Unfortunately very few have been able to carry their own titles. I, personally, love writing strong women characters, and I hope that shows in New Outsiders, where the women out number the men two to one. I hope they bring Catwoman back again, though. It was really a very entertaining book.

I have Catwoman on my pull list, but it wasn't the comic I looked forward to anymore because they reallly messed her OYL story line. They turned Selina into something she was never written to be....
I liked the direction they had her going in from Savage Run, but it wasn't enough... sales were down and never rebounded. Hopefully she'll return someday, but I can't see that happening until FC is over with.

Power Girl is coming soon! If it's anything like JSA: Classified #1-4 (4? Or 3?) then it should be wonderful.
Though I still think she should call herself Power Woman.
Grr.

XOXO CATSMEOW! Being one of the biggest fans of Kate Spencer - Manhunter I can certainly understand your frustration. I haven't read Catwoman for a while but I thought it was strange that Holly became Catwoman and Selina had a baby. Not sure that was the best way to bring in new readers. There are so many female characters with potential in the DCU I just don't believe any of them could carry their own book in this type of market. Just look at Black Canary having to share a book with Ollie. As for myself I always featured strong female characters in most of the stories I have written (especially Suicide Squad) and will continue to do so in both Checkmate and Global Guardians. Nightshade, Cameron Chase, Val Vostok, Firehawk, Catherine Colbert, plus a few others will have big roles in Checkmate when the series returns later this month. As for Global Guardians, half the team will consist of kick ass girl power characters when the book returns this month as well. Now that I think of it, almost all the characters in Heroes for Hire (marvel2) will be females. Maybe there is something wrong with me? I also don't believe that females should be overlooked when it comes to super villains either. As a matter of fact I think the girl baddies will have their fair share of the spotlight in both titles. I can't say more here but I might have some super cool cover ideas if you would be interested. Not only is New Outsiders one of my favs here, but the women have been driving the title for a long time and Brian does a bang up job with some of the coolest female characters in the DCU. I mean Batgirl ( sorry...Batwoman), Black Canary, Huntress, Grace, and Manhunter in one title? It doesn't get any cooler then that. ;D Makes me wonder how much cooler that title could get if the DC2 Catwoman joined. What do you think Brian?

Sorry, no Catwoman in a regular role, but she did appear recently in New Outsiders #22 and #23 where it was revealed that Catwoman had actually trained... well... I don't want to ruin the surprise.
