As some of you may know, Newsarama, my long-time favorite comic book news site, underwent a site overhaul (similar to the recent one at Comic Book Resources) this week and I'm not entirely happy with the site's new design and accessibility. I know some of the other sites out there but wondered where everyone else went for their daily comic news. Is there a great news source out there some of us may not have come across yet? |

I've always used Newsarama, but I'm less than happy with the overhaul myself, so that may change.

I had to spend 5 minutes getting past all the junk the put on the index page now... I haven't been back since. Aintitcoolnews.com or Ifanboy.com are couple suggestions I can think of... I am disappointed in Newsarama...  |

Thanks for the suggestions. Haven't heard of Ifanboy before. I'll have to check it out.
The change in Newsarama was a huge disappointment. I've been reading news online from them since way back in the mid-90s when it was still called Newswire.

On the same boat with y'all then. Kevin and I were talking about how much we disliked it. Shame too, Newsarama was awesome in it's simplicity. Now it's a freaking mess...

Its really lame what they did. As a comic book news site they were pretty much the best. CBR is cool but Newsarama was where most people went first. Now I think it is overextended and the movie stuff i have read on it has been pretty third rate and it doesn't seem to do muc hmore coverage then it used to, so what's the point?

There was a time before Heidi MacDonald split off to do the Beat blog that The Pulse rivaled Newsarama (when Newsarama first split from Comicon and Pulse replaced them). If they could pick their game back up now would be the perfect time to take advantage of all the disgruntled 'Rama readers. |

iFanboy.com is interesting, but it seems more geared toward articles and reviews than news. I did like the "This Week's Comics" and podcast features though. Journalista is a pretty cool site too but it is definitely more in the blog category than news.

After googling around for a few days I think I've come to the conclusion that as much as the Newsarama retooling was off-putting, they are still the best site out there. I just couldn't find any other decent ones.  So I guess I'll just get used to Nu Newsarama. |

I'm kinda getting used to Newsarama's new look but I was with you guys when it first happened, I hated how they changed it.
