Brave and the Bold was previewed at San Diego. In case you don't know about this show yet... Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network unveiled their new Batman animated series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, in a panel at Comic-Con International on Friday.
Panelists included producers Sam Register and James Tucker, voice director Andrea Romano, story editor Michael Jelenic, directors Brandon Vietti, Ben Jones, Michael Chang and Diedrich Bader, the voice of Batman. The style is cartoony but I'm totally cool with that all long as the stories are good. This preview image was posted with the article though which I thought was interesting... Aquaman with a beard? Now only if we'd thought of that. Oh wait. (We should totally steal that Black Manta design)

Oh good its action. I was kind of worried for a sec that since it was this style they were going to do like jokey episodes more along the lines of like... fairly odd parents than dcau stuff. This looks dope though, we should steal that Batman design is what we should do. Yellow ovals are in right now.

I thought you'd already put the yellow oval back on Bats?

More previews of the art here at CBR. That Red Tornado design is cool. There's supposed to be a clip of the animation preview shown at the panel floating around somewhere but I haven't found one that works yet.
