Yeah. My dad's a bit of a Trek fan, too. He hated the fact that the Enterprise-D was destroyed. He doesn't like the look of the Eneterprise-E. The Enterprise E is that the one from Nemesis? 'Cause if so, I gotta agree with him... Yes, it's the one from Nemesis. I tink it was introduced in First Contact.

naturally. Yeah. My dad's a bit of a Trek fan, too. He hated the fact that the Enterprise-D was destroyed. He doesn't like the look of the Eneterprise-E. Well alot of people like a Caddy to a Vette and that is a reasonable comparsion between the two. The Dee was the large pimp Caddy and the E was the sleek and fast Vette. Mischief

The only letter that deserves to be on the end of NCC-1701 is A.

LOL! But they did pilot the NCC-1701A in the movies, therefore that's the only acceptable letter.

Is this going to de-evolve into another 'Kirk vs. Picard' debate?

The original was messed in Wrath of Khan. Self-destructed in Search for Spock. In the Voyage Home, after Kirk was demoted to the rank of Captain, he was given command of USS Enterprise NCC 1701-A.
The USS Enterprise NCC 1701-B appeared in Star Trek Generations. It was an Excelsior upgrade Class vessel, which was captained by John Harriman.
The USS Enterprise NCC 1701-C appeared in an episode of The Next Generation's "Yesterday's Enterprise". It was an Ambassador Class vessel, which was captained by Rachel Garrett. This Enterprise was destroyed attempting to defend the Klingon outpost Narendra III from Romulan attack.
So I guess this thread has been DE-RAILED

Well, to get this thread back on topic; the Batman part of my name is clearly because I'm a huge Batman fanatic. The Twinky part is a nickname that I've had for about 10 years. In 5th grade, I had to sit next to the same kid on the bus everyday and for some reason, he always had Twinkies with him. After a few weeks of conversation, he started to call me Twinkie. Don't ask me why, maybe I was teasing him about the Twinkies or something. But when some other classmates heard the nickname, they went with it and it just spread. For several years, my friends knew me as Twinkie. In 9th grade, I changed the spelling (not like it had been spelt much in the past) to Twinky to give it some originality.
I also go as TwinkyMaster on some other boards which I started using first. I wanted my nickname to be universal and I just thought that "Master" sounded pretty cool after it.
