Ever notice that the majority of leading characters in Final Fantasy are blond haired and blue eyed? What's up with that? Even the asian looking ones are always blond and blue eyed...
Cloud, Zidane, Tidus, Vaan...

Squall Leonhart is the only one that didn't have blond hair. He had a cool weapon a Gun Blade.

Cloud powned the one guy who had a gunblade in Advent Children. I didn't like FF8, but the gunblade was pretty cool.

I loved 8 and I loved Squall...I'll admit, 8 had a real "unique" system, and a "unique" storyline (complicated for some) but I really enjoyed it. Plus hte summons (Guardian Forces/GFs) had cool attacks.
Zidane, Tidus and Vaan all remind me of each other for some reason...Vaan and Zidane are both the same description, about the same build, both thieves, main/lead characters, same haircut, and both meet up with a princess...
::shrugs:: just something I noticed

Maybe they should try a bald headed lead. I enjoyed 10 and X-2. I like the story in both of them. I like the idea of the sequel with the two games. Now they got the make the next one for all the game systems. Especially the 360.

X and X-2 were awesome indeed. Among my top faves.
I don't know what XIII will be for, but I know it's for the PS3. And it's in three parts, so you kinda have sequels within that...Or was it that each of the three had their own story? Something like that. But it's inevitable that the other systems get a piece of the FF action. Nintendo already has their own version of FF Tactics on the Gameboy Advance (FF Tactics Advanced) (of which FF XII is based on both of those games) and also they have FF Crystal Chronicles.
X Box has gotten a few game series that were originally PS exclusive.

Nintendo is releasing all of the classic FF's for GBA and NDS. Somehow I doubt X-Box is going to get a hold of Final Fantasy though. Nintendo owns the production rights to everything before 7, and Sony owns the ones that came out after. I'm not sure, but don't they own Squaresoft?

Yes, they do. Nintendo had them, but they had a fight, if I recall correctly.
And come on, FF7 is the best. Sephirot and Cloud are the coolest, and the movie is awesome. Has anyone played Final Fantasy Tactics? I believe that it's at the par of FF7.

A Final Fantasy title for the 360 are currently "a blank page" And 13 is exclusive to PS3. They should have made it a multi-consle release. More money is made that way.

I honestly felt closest to 8 because it was my first FF game and I grew on the battle system..and the GFs/summons were among my favorites in the franchise.
FF 7 I could never get into honestly...after playing 8, then the rest of the franchise on, 7 never did it for me...though I know it's the fave...The movie was wicked tho. I don't know if I've seen actions so beautifully choreographed in a computer animated movie, hell, any animated movie, especially one based on a video game. Advent Children was way better than the first FF movie, Spirits Within, which was based on no Final Fantasy ever made...
Now Tactics is my all time fave FF game. At first glance, it looks kiddie like because of the chibi graphics, but the story is among the most intricate plots made for role playing games (how many betrayals and twists came up in that game?), plus the battle system really grows on you. I used to play Tactics all night long. Plus the sidequests are fun and challenging, and hell, for the FF 7 fans, you can get Cloud! Even though he kinda sucked in the beginning...
Highyl recommended.
ANd speaking of Tactics, Razma in both Tactics and Tactics Advanced was blonde haired and blue eyed!

I really liked 8, a lot. Most people seem to think it's the worst of the PS FFs but it's the only one that i got into the most. I was really liking XII but work and school have gotten in the way and I havent been able to finish it.
For X-Box 360, i know Final Fantasy XI is on it. That and FF III (the Japanese one) are the only one's i havent played. When I heard Square was going to release games on all the platforms i was hoping that the series would come to Xbox, but it looks like im going to have to buy a PS3.

FF8 to this day is the only one I was able to play all the way through and actually enjoy. Zell was just too big of a badass in that game to deny... he had a face tattoo... think about it...

yeah, that too.
Also when you get to make up the band I put him on electric guitar, that really completed the whole badass, hotdog loving, face tatooing package.

Was it just me, or did Mike Tyson copy Zell's face tattoo? I never compared the two, but they lookeds similar in my head...

And hell yea they were separated at birth! Zell's a fighter just like Tyson, and in this picture, it looks like he was already hungry to bite into some cartilage.

Just how many freaking 'FINAL' fantasies can there really be? At what point will they start naming it: Almost Final Fantasy or Not Quite the Final Fantasy... ?
Just asking...

The FINAL in Final Fantasy is because when they first made Final Fantasy (the first of the series for the NES I think) it was the project which would decide whether their company would live on or not. It was their FINAL fantasy game, if this fantasy game didn't live up to the gaming world's expectations.
